    Recreation Day.

    Iniquity - The Bullets Breath

Danish Gore/Death Metal. Anyone seen the "Growl Karaoke"? Then you've heard this song. "This country is going straight to hell."

    Rhapsody - Unholy Warcry

The full-version from their newest album. Damn, this song has improved a lot since the EP. Pretty good solo too.

Added yet another band to check out on my "stuff to download" list.
Please explain what this Growl Karaoke thing is, it sounds interesting.
    As for myself:

    In Flames - Pinball Map

First In Flames song I ever heard. I liked it right away, and I still get a kick out of the Clayman album each time.

    Guided by the pinball map
The driver, still unknown to me
    Who was sent to glorify?
Before we injected this common pride

Alright, the lyrics aren't exactly amazing, but they do sound complex.

Lamb Of God - Laid To Rest (Demo)

Getting very pumped up for the new album. This song kicks arse. Comes out in one week and somehow has not been leaked...

    X-Japan - X

From the "Blue Blood"-album. Pretty good stuff, I'm not a big X-Japan-fan, though I loved the "Art of Life"-EP.

I'm not so hyped up about the new Ashes of the Wake album, as the song in the TV ad didn't seem to be all that. Either way, it's LoG, and I would be lying if I said I'm not going to download it.

Quite a coincidence, Howie. I'm also listening to the same song:

    X Japan - X

That's one of the few X Japan songs I've heard, I thought it was the intro song to the X anime series which I recently downloaded, but I guess it wasn't.

    Ben Folds - The Luckiest

Ben Folds is a really talented piano player, and his lyrics are great. If you don't know who Ben Folds is, he used to be in a band called Ben Folds Five, and their whole concept was to play rock music without a guitar. They used piano, bass, and drums. The song Luckiest is from Ben Folds solo album called Rockin' The Suburbs. It is very well written and structured.

Icon and the Black Roses - Set Me on Fire

Awesome Gothic Metal/Rock in HIM-style. If you like HIM, you'll love this.

    Tortoise - Seneca

Trying the band out, this is one of the songs that downloaded overnight. I'm not overly impressed so far, but then again, it took GY!BE quite a while...

    Nightwish - 10th Man Down

This song gets stuck in my head a lot... very good song, as are most songs by them.
"I start to think there really is no cure for depression, that happiness is an ongoing battle, and I wonder if it isn't one I'll have to fight for as long as I live. I wonder if it's worth it."

Five Iron Frenzy - A New Hope

This song has great lyrics, along with very catchy rhythm, melody, harmonies, an' all that. Progression is good, too.

World of Warcraft... my friend convinced me... bt what started as a skeptic sense of wary enjoyment has turned into the biggest time-waster of all... well, uh, time. I'm getting better. But that's what all addicts say.

Rage Against the Machine - How I Could Just

Here is something you can't understand...
    How I could just,
    Kill a man!

Great song from the Renegade album. I haven't listened to Rage in quite a while, I just love how they mix hip hop with a really well played bass.
