Doom 3

My brother downloaded it and it's on BitTorrents/IRC etc. just about everywhere...anyone play it? I played it and well, was pretty scared, not like 'shit myself' scared but it had the..."Oh shit, I'm in the darkness" feel to it. Kind of like moving through the swamp in a jungle but instead...it's Doom 3 on Mars...

My comp should be able to run it, but for some reason I only get a few frames per second on it, even in low quality. I'd love to play it though, but as I've yet been able to even though I should be, I have to vote low.

Well 5 I think, the physics, lighting graphics are amasing coupled with great gameplay and tactically placed baddies for an extra scare.

I really like it, but I still more than look forward to half life 2.

Nah, I already looked at several options, none of which work. I'm guessing it's time to upgrade my computer. Thanks for the help though.

Doom 3 is loveable. One of the best PC games ever made. I'm usually not impressed by PC/FPS games. But shit, this one is VERY nice. And so bug free. HEAVENS!!!

It's a 4. No doubt. And maybe a pony.

Anyways, I've gotten every weapon save for the SoulCube. The BFG is fucking awesome, although I have to admit that you should not use it in close range combat, especially not with an arch-vile. I just entered the second sector of the Delta Labs, I believe; can't quite remember; and I got raped by a bunch of imps when I fell into a room. Like a fool, I used the BFG9000. That's what killed me. =\

Anyways. The game rules.

I love the game...it's just material. I'm an RPG fan too and not even FFX made me feel this...'arroused'...ok ok, I take it back...NAH, nevermind, Doom 3 rocks!

Seems like my comp couldnt handle the game so well.... so I chose the pony.

I gave it a 4. That is just for the high requirements that make it where some of you guys can't play it. The lighting effects and such are just amazing. I was like holy shit when I realized that what I was watching was being rendered real-time not prerendered.
