Saetia - Some Natures Catch No Plagues
Remains the best screamo song I've ever heard, probably because I haven't sought out any more. But it's awesome, so there.

Katatonia - Criminals
Very cool song, kind of soft in a way.
Slim... I thought the riffs in "Some Kind of Monster" were a steaming pile o' shit.Okay, not that bad, just mediocre. And Smith, of course I love "Nothing Else Matters", it's one of the earliest songs I listened to as a child repeatedly(and that I can remember).
I grew up with that song as long as many other Guns n Roses, Metallica, Pearl Jam, and Nirvana songs. I can play most of it on a guitar.
Howie, just how bad is the song? I sure hope they haven't gone down the crapper, 'cause Norther is the only really similar band I know.![]()
I don't know if it is CoB, but the song is damned good anyway. The intro reminds me of Metallica's "Frantic", actually (do not panic!)
Can't wait 'till the EP is released... Andrew W.K and Alice Cooper-covers on it + some other unconfirmed stuff.
Grospixles - Sonic the Hedgehog - Green Hill Zone
Wee, Sonic Metal!![]()
Lol... I just have to check that Grospixels band out!
The intro in "Frantic" is misleading, so that means it's not a lame intro(but the song isn't bad either though).I'm glad the song isn't shite, I'll wait til the EP is out(or leaked). Can't wait to hear it.
Btw, mind filling me in on this "Sonic Metal" band?
Pearl Jam - You Are
This song isn't all that, but it's still kick-ass. They just never get old on me, and considering I've listened to them since I was 4 that's quite amazing.

Arsis - Return
/me quivers
This song... is incredible. The riffs are just unbelievable, the drumming isn't as fast in this song(except for the double-pedal bass drum) but it's still awesome. The vocals are extremely cool, they don't sound off tune or anything. It's hard to believe that this band is made up of just 2 guys. It has a bit of a melody, but it sure ain't your melo-death picnic. Kick-ass, what a way to wake up.![]()
Dream Theater - Endless Sacrifice
Best song on 'Train of Thought'. I love how it starts off really mellow, then the distorted chorus kicks in at around 2:07. Almost reminds me of Metallica's 'Sanitarium', actually.
Opeth - When
the part that kicks in at the end is awesome, you gotta love Mikael changing from death too clean vocals
East Flatbush Project - Tried By Twelve (Autechre Remix)
This song has been remixed by several different artists, I'd have to say this the best version. They distort the guys voice so it sounds digitalized and rough. Very nice.
Linkin Park - Breaking the Habit
...
FUCK OFF. It's airing on TV, so it's not my choice. Their melodies are okay, but it's just too "teenage-angst-i-don't-understand-my-life"-ish if you know what I mean. I've never been fond of this band, fo' shizzle. I was a nu metal prick years ago, but I never liked this band.
/me vomits his bowels and sings the first death metal shite that comes to his mind.
