For Amusement Only are Australian. Why does Australia try to take credit for the pavlova and then blame us for their Blink 182 impersonators?

    American Football - Honestly

Classic Kinsella indie, this should be the soundtrack to your teenage years.

    Because we're a shit country.

    Ursa Minor - Slide

I need to learn the vocals as I'm in this band now, and I don't know the vocal line that well...

    Bob Dylan - Love Sick

I'm generally not a big fan of Bob Dylan, but I really like the way his voice sounds on his newer stuff. I don't know it's sorta haunting.

    Trogdor, Trogdor

    Trogdor was a man
    Uhh...Maybe he was a Dragon-Man
Uhh...Maybe he was just a Dragon
    Uhm...but he was still

    Trogdor, Trogdor

    Burninating the countryside
    Burninating the peasants
    Buriniating all the people
    in their Thatched Roof Cottages

    Thatched Roof Cottages

And The Trogdor Comes in The Night.

I agree with ^, Disciple is one l33t-ass song.

Metallica - Some Kind of Monster
I'm really listening to this song on TV(they're airing Headbanger's Ball on MTV atm). I just can't believe how much this song sucks. It's your typical "jump-da-fuck-up" nu metal song with Hetfield on vocals. I can't believe they would stoop so low. I never bothered to thoroughly listen to St. Anger, and I'm damned glad I didn't. The traditional thrashy Metallica may be dead, and I know they've gone commercial since the early 90's, but St. Anger was just the last straw. Hetfield should've stayed an alcoholic, damn it. That rehab only fucked up the band even more.

    Metallica - Nothing Else Matters.

Just what I happened to be playing at the moment. Hopefully Soeru appreciates this one a little more.
All I can say is that my life is pretty plain
I like watchin the puddles gather rain
And all I can do is just pour some tea for two
and speak my point of view
    But its not sane..
I just want some one to say to me
Ill always be there when you wake
Ya know Id like to keep my cheeks dry today
So stay with me and Ill have it made
And I dont understand why I sleep all day
And I start to complain that theres no rain
And all I can do is read a book to stay awake
And it rips my life away but its a great escape..
All I can say is that my life is pretty plain...

Serj Tankian - Bird In Paradise (gone)

Who would have thought the lead singer of System Of A Down would be part of Charlie Parker remix project?

    Living End - The Room

    Its just a cool song.

Oh, by the way, when I went to Homebake, For Amusement Only was introduced as a New Zealand band. Thats all I knew.

    Einherjer - Wolf-age

One of the best songs off the "Blot"-album. From my hometown... too bad they split up. Aff, we still got Enslaved and Thundra though.

Some Kind Of Monster has like four awesome riffs in it. The worst part is Hetfield rapping.

    Ursa Minor - Foreseen

    Elbow - Newborn

I love the opening lyrics of this song, "I'll be the corpse in your bathtub. Useless. I'll be a staff I suppose, If you hold me like a newborn." Such a great song. he sings the lyrics so beautifully and honestly. These guys were packaged as a Radiohead wannabe band along with Clinic, South and Coldplay among others. Which I think is unfair to them and Radiohead. I personally don't see that munch of a similarity between them and Radiohead, except for that fact that there british and a rock group :/

    Twelve Tribes - Baboon Music

Bought "The Rebirth Of Tragedy" off eBay new for 5 bucks. Simply because it said Converge in the title. Really, really good so far. Metalcore by the way. Closer to hXc than metal...

The Owls - I Want The Blindingly Cute To Confide In Me

Again, I'm a fan of the Kinsellas... The Owls are American Football without all the long instrumental bits, or Cap'n Jazz with pretty singing.

    El-P - Stepfather Factory

Yeah, there's a vague chance you'll like this, Slim. Reason being, it's awesome. The music is more than just a steady beat to keep the rhythm of the vocals going, it's the audio equivalent of an evolving social apocalypse. The first few seconds will put you off though, guaranteed.

Soulseek wasn't feeding me any el-p, so I'm going for Aesop Rock instead.

    Queensryche - Spreading The Disease

Needed a Geoff Tate fix. He sings this with such ease, I struggle with the chorus by the end of it. Hard shit...
