The Human Equation is in my opinion better. A lot less cheesy too, you should buy it.

Jorn - Out to Every Nation

One of the best vocalists out there, good stuff.

Even heavier consideration now.

Godspeed You! Black Emperor - 1st disc of Lift Yr. Skinny Fists Like Antennas To Heaven

Don't know what song it is, because the song/track scheme on this album is weird, about the 14 minute mark on track 1.

This for some reason, is a great album to study to...

If you'd like to download some songs from the albums first, I recommend you get Day Two: Isolation and Day Sixteen: Loser. Awesome songs.

Iron Maiden - No More Lies

The bastards still got it, and thank God they didn't release a... eh, "Dance of St. Anger"

Radiohead - Trickster

The quility of there b-sides is astounding. Most artists couldnt muster tracks half as good as these for there a-sides.

Sonata Arctica - Wolf & Raven

Fuck the lyrics. Sonata is great. Fast as hell.

Pandemonium - Morninglight Revery
Kickass melo death/doom. Last song from their album "Insomnia". The piano adds a nice touch to the already awesome sounding track. I just wish I could understand what the vocalist is singing without the need of lyrics, it sounds too low to grasp.

Radiohead - Blackstar

I don't know why but I had the sudden urge to listen to this song. I usually don't listen to the stuff they did before OK Computer, because there almost a entirely different band.

DJ Shadow - Organ Donor

^Most l33t beat in all fucking history. DJ Shadow's "Endtroducing" album is the shit. It kinda sounds like the old music they used to play in the old Adult Swim commercials, but even better.

/me points to TechKnow's sig.

Tool - Cold And Ugly

I have to agree that "Endtroducing" rocks a ridiculous amount of face. I've probably listened to it more then any other album, and it still sounds fresh to me.

Funeral For A Friend - Red Is The New Black
Oh my God I love these guys!! My friend Graham picked them up 'cause he saw the cover and thought it looked pretty cool, the name sounded cool and it was pretty cheap (6.99CAD, there're only 7 songs on the CD) and I must admit he made a very, very good purchase. I recommend everyone at least give them a try. It's one of those bands that has screaming and singing and, for me, the perfect blend of each.

Adema - Freaking Out
Ahh, God bless Adema. The first song I heard by them was the overplayed Immortal, but it's still a great song. This one I like listening to 'cause it reminds me of myself.

I was so much an outcast,
no one ever liked me 'cause I wasn't wanted.
I was so different from the rest of 'em all
fucked up on the drugs, from all the speed
and I never got no sleep
'cause I kept on trippin' over what they said
and everything that my mom said made me mad
and everything that my dad said made me sad.

King Crimson - One Red Nightmare

From one of the all time best prog rock masterpieces, King Crimson's "Red". Awesome song.
