I thought dreams about food signified love.
I remember on one of the (several) old threads about dreams that someone pointed out a site that explains their meanings and how to interpret them. There's a whole lot of psychology involved, but I didn't get interested in it... since I haven't dreamt(sp?) in years.
Just like Soeru i cant rember any of my dreams after i wake up... Im sure my mind is doing somthing... anyway... that is kind of freaky.. i would be sort of scared..
Sorry, haven't been on lately.
You know, the two guys who did dream these are important people to me; Dave is my Youth Pastor and Matt is, kinda almost my boyfriend.
I just think that it's kinda creepy that two people have dreamed that I died. I just hope my other friends don't have the same thing. I mean, if Iria were to dream that I died, that would be weird. She's my cousin. And if my dad did, well...I'm his only daughter, he'd freak.
Scary how things go...Dave called at 11:30 at night to see if I was okay, cause he had dreamt I commited suicide.
Well, I found a online interpretation dictionary, but I'm not sure how helpful the entries on death and dying are.
This may be a bit better, but somehow I highly doubt it. It's supposed to be an automatic dream interpreter. I'm sure it will be good for a laugh, at least.DEAD Seeing something dead in your dream suggests you are realising that some part of yourself, or your feelings, are no longer expressing fully. In fact you may have killed that part of you by denying it, repressing, or freezing it from normal life. The 'death' may even have been caused by a painful experience. But even so, it still means you have made a decision - perhaps unconscious - to shut out that part of your life. This can also relate to a lost opportunity or potential.
A dead person: Dreaming of someone who is dead, a relative or loved one, is quite common. After all, the person may have played a big part in your life, as for instance a husband or wife. Therefore the influence of their existence is still very much a live in you.
As an example of this, you will probably be able to realise that some of your traits, some of the ways that you think or respond to things, have arisen because of the way you related to the person you dreamt about. So in many cases the dead person indicates the feelings you have about the, the traits you still have alive in you from them. When someone close to you dies you go through a period of change from relating to them as an external reality, to meeting and accepting them as alive in your memories and inner life.
Some dreams of dead people are expressive of attempts to deal with feelings, guilt or anger in connection with the person who died; or your own feelings about death.
Dead husband or wife: Many dreams of dead people come from women who have lost their husband. It is common to have disturbing dreams for some period afterwards; or not be able to dream about the husband or wife at all; or to see the partner in the distance but not get near. In accepting the death, meeting any feelings of loss, grief, anger and continuing love, the dream may become as in the third example. See: Death.
DEATH Death is an everyday part of life. So dreams often use it to illustrate leaving something behind, such as childhood or a relationship. Also parts of ones feelings sometimes die. Our love for someone might die for instance, and so our dream illustrates this with a death, perhaps of that person. Some teenagers dream of their parents dying as they start to become independent. This is a form of killing of dependent feelings about their parents as a means of growth. This happens in some relationships too, where we want to break with the person.
Death is also something we sometimes create into a frightening spectre. It is something we all face. So some dreams in which we actually die, are a means of experimenting with meeting death. If we do not do this, if we are frightened of death and have not worked out a relationship with it, then we will not live fully and daringly. But in our dream life, death usually holds in it the promise of change or regeneration-rebirth is some way.
What is dead may also depict what is past. It therefore carries traditional experience and wisdom. For instance the farmer today unconsciously uses the collective experience of humanity in farming. What innovation he does today his children or others will learn and carry into the future, even though he is dead. See: Dead; Illness

When the forums were down, I dreamt that they just had gotten fixed again and that I was posting. I should go outside more.
I really think that its a waste of time for ppl to try and interperet dreams...I can hardly remember any of mine and the ones i do make no sense and their is no meaning with then tehy are just funny to tell ppl about. and actually no one dies in my dreams i was under the sea for like days in one dream with all my friends but we didnt die.
I would dissagree with dreams having no meaning. They mean something to your mind.
A theory is if you feel you needed to do something but havnt got it done or something is nagging at you, your subcon dreams about something relevant and helps you feel better or solve whatever.
Just a theory, but whatever the reason I feel dreams have a meaning to your mind. Just its stupid to think they have an effect on real life.

Maby its because your a girl, and they like you alot.
I always have dreams of me and the girl I like getting in crazy situations. Sometimes its strange because I see myself in a third person perspective and I kill everybody (protecting her). Thing is, I'm being serious about these dreams.
I too belive that dreams have a real meaning, but sometimes they are just so far out of whack it isn't funny. But mostly I have dreams that I'm falling, fast and for a very long time, but maby I'm wierd.
Most of my scary dreams involve trains. Like a wierd one, where I was gonna miss my train, so i jumped on its roof, and the roof was carpeted (O_o) and I fell off, and got friction burn, and I landed on the ground, which then split in 2 like an earthquake and I fell down.
me = fucked up.
