Toto decided I was non-onethreethreeseven because I like that song.

As for the Muse tickets... Christ. I better buy mine soon. They aren't actually for sale here yet, but contrary to what you told me, they are playing in Auckland. September 14. Excellent.

Choking Victim - In My Grave.

Awesome. Skacore with guttural yet pretty vocal harmonies. So anyway.

Modest Mouse - Teeth Like God's Shoeshine.

Been my favourite song for months. So anyway.

Atreyu>Jimmy. I assume Aint Love Grand or Lip Gloss And Black is all you've heard. And my show went on sale Monday. So yes I would hurry. Report on the new album - It makes the first look like absolute shite. Highlights - Right Side Of THe Bed, You Eclipsed By Me.

Meanwhile, i'm listening to

Rush - La Villa Strangiato

Everyone's favourite band playing everyone's favourite song. Instrumental of 10 mins or so.

Jim's favourite bands

1. Lamb Of God
2. Atreyu
3. Slayer
4. Metallica...

David Wise - Hornet Hole from DKC2...

All the DKC music was pretty awesome. David Wise is a cool guy. ...plus everybody was posting metal, thought I'd break the groove out.

Rush, Choking Victim, Modest Mouse - Not metal

The Dillinger Escape Plan - The Mullet Burden

They actually made a video for this song. It's really cool, fast, and really DEP. From the Under The Running Board EP...

Alright, point taken. Heh...

Dr. Demento - Camp Grenada

Even though this is about the lowest of lo-fi, this recording could be covered pretty easily. It's got a good melody. Not to mention the lyrics are funny.

Jack Off Jill - Surgery
I really like this song. The chorus is wonderful... "Hold me under; cut away this empty...; hold me under; change the way I feel about you"

The Dillinger Escape Plan - We Are The Storm

30 seconds into this track from "Miss Machine" I'm hearing for the first time. It's the same intensity we've come to expect, and I've said it before, but the new vocallist is really good...

Velvet Revolver - Do It For The Kids
I love the intro for this song. I mean, it's a wonderful song, but I giggle every time I hear the intro:

"Went too fast I'm out of luck and I don't even give a fuck"

Lamb Of God - Laid To Rest

It's a pre production demo of the first single from their upcoming album "Ashes Of The Wake", due the day after my birthday". It sounds cool, it's syncopated as hell, and really technical...

Adema - Immortal
I love the chorus for this song.
"I know who you are; the leader of lost souls. You can't kill me, I'm immortal. I'm not afraid to die; my soul will travel on. You can't kill me, I'm immortal."

Smile Empty Soul - Finding Myself
From The Punisher soundtrack. Very good song; I love this band quite a bit. I've been meaning to pick up their CD for a bit, which I'm glad I finally did today, as well as another band called Otep, which I haven't gotten around to yet.

Anyways. 'sall good.

The Dillinger Escape Plan - Panasonic Youth

They've shot a video for this song, the first single from "Miss Machine", it will also appear on the new MTV2 Headbanger's Ball CD, along with a whole bunch of other good songs. Oh, and this kicks arse...

Converge - Last Light

The first proper song from Converge's newest/next/whatever album. You can actually make out the words this time round. Told you they were emo.
