    Exclamation EP distributing virus?!?!?

*sigh* I sure hope I don't get banned/blacklisted/shot for this, but here goes.......

Ok, everyone know that program that it asks you to run/install upon arriving at EP's front page if you use IE (I just recently switched to Firefox)? Well, the last time that message popped up I clicked "Save" instead of "Run", so I'd merely save the program to disk rather than running it and allowing it to do whatever it does to my system....Well it's a good thing I did because earlier today I downloaded a new anti-virus (AVG Anti Virus) and it detected that the program (trad3rp.exe) was contaminated with the virus Dropper.Small.5.J! The most I could find about this virus is that it's a trojan. And the worst part is I can't get rid of that program now. Whenever I try to my anti-virus freezes. If I'm going through this much trouble and I didn't even let the damn program install, I can imagine what happens when you install it.....
Does anyone know of the company that pays MasJ to put this up?

Hmmm.....ok......let's see......only been here since June.....Haven't seen a thread about AT-Games yet.....Only thought I was doing the right thing.....And what happens? I get bitched at.....WELL I'M FUCKING SORRY! Nobody can take the freakin time to just *explain* it to me. All I get is the "Fucking n00b, doesn't know anything, he should know that AT will be detected as a virus although nobody told *him*" treatment.

*sigh* I know I'm gonna get made fun of for this too. Seriously, what the hell do you people have against n00bs? Do you all seem to forget that you were all the same way at some point?!?

    Easy sunshine

Just remember that we have answered this question many times, and there is ample info already on the boards about it. Yeah, it probably could have been answered a little more *tactfully*, so...

AT is not a virus. At the most, it makes a folder in the program files directory on your hard drive. That's it really. EP isn't hosted on a free server, and I am sure it costs a bundle.

So take a deep breath, and relax. I see you have made many contributions to EP, and I hate to see you get banned for something so silly
