Whatever, I think that X-X3 are pretty tight, but the originals are the best.
You don't need a bunch of fancy moves to be an awesome fighter. When you rely on just your buster and skills, it is awesome.

Hahaha! We have lousy Megaman players I hear. And I'm not talking about you, Xaenn.

I always thought those classic mega man games were WAY too easy. But fun nonetheless.

I've only had problems with Megaman 1 but I did actually beat it on NES. Without using that cheap trick to beat Yellow Devil.

Cheap tricks are no fun.
That was the hardest one, given that there were no E tanks. However it is fun to play through MM2 and 3 without em.
I think Mega Man 1 is the last of the mega man games I beat, couldn't do it as a kid, but came back a few years ago and completed it.

Hmm... I beat it many years ago. Although it was after MM3, MM2 and MM4. MM3 was my first Megaman game and I loved it!

I would personally consider MM3 to be my favorite.
The cartridge I have of it is kinda screwed up, so the data part of it get's pushed back. It always takes some effort to get it playing but is worth it. I actually wrote a challenge faq for it, but have been too lazy to put it online anywhere.

Yeah MM3 is great. Although I like MM5 slightly more. It's my favorite game in the original MM series. ^^
Challange faq eh? What for...?
Replying later, need to go...

Heh, the challenge faq was to beat MM3 without using any E tanks, and no special weapons. The only exceptions are at times when you MUST use one of the rush items, or against Gamma.
Although it turned out to be a bit too ridiculously hard, as some bosses were almost impossible to beat, and took MANY save/load states, and it would be almost impossible on the console itself.
Edit: MM5 is pretty tight. It's great that Beat is actually good in it, unlike when they screw him up in 6 and he can't fight bosses...Seems 6 screwed up a lot of things...
MM3 does have the best rushes however.

I don't know. I played one night with a friend and we could not make it thru the first castle. I'll give it another try maybe, with some GameGenie codes or something.

I rarely use any special weapons in any Megaman. I just love the plain old buster.

I see, I see. Yeah some bosses are way to hard without the special weapon. Like Shadow man.
Heh, never really used beat... But I had to get him. Collecting stuff is fun.
But I love the bosses and the levels! Gravity man, Napalm man and Wave man are just so cool!
