Manowar - Return of the Warlord

Classic Heavy Metal at its best. I haven't listened to Manowar in months.

    Muse~plug in baby
YES!the swedish guys actually sent back the discs my dad had left in their hotel.sure, they took their time, but who cares?i'm finding OOS a much better album than absolution.absolution was a better album on the whole, but it lacked songs as great as new born, plug in baby, space dementia etc.

    A Perfect Circle - Judith

A buddy of mine sent it to me.... can't say I'm a big Perfect Circle fan, but the song rocks. I'm always pleased to hear new music. And while I'm at it, I'll say that Voltaire is indeed good stuff, since Gospel isn't around to reiterate it.
All I can say is that my life is pretty plain
I like watchin the puddles gather rain
And all I can do is just pour some tea for two
and speak my point of view
    But its not sane..
I just want some one to say to me
Ill always be there when you wake
Ya know Id like to keep my cheeks dry today
So stay with me and Ill have it made
And I dont understand why I sleep all day
And I start to complain that theres no rain
And all I can do is read a book to stay awake
And it rips my life away but its a great escape..
All I can say is that my life is pretty plain...

    Pantera - Clash With Reality

Taken from their classic 1990 album, 'Cowboys from Hell'. Manages to showcase everything that's great about Pantera: awesome drumming, Phil Anselmo's vocals, and more bone-crunching guitar riffs than you can shake a large stick at. Excellent.

    Black Sabbath - Iron Man
    'nuff said. \m/

Edit: Metallica - One(live from the S&M CD)
So damned incredible. I just saw the MTV Icon for Metallica, I can't believe how Korn, Limp Bizkit, Staind, Snoop Dog, and Avril Lavigne*gasp* insulted Metallica with their interpretations of their songs. Limp Bizkit and Staind didn't fuck it up too badly, but Korn literally made "One" sound like a pansy-fest. I wont even comment on Avril's interpretation of "Fuel"...

    Nujabes feat. Shing02 - Battlecry.
From the Samurai Champloo OST. This song is the opening theme and since the damn show is so new it took about a half hour of searching to find it!

Public Enemy - Party for Your Right to Fight

The closing tack from their 1988 album, 'It Takes a Nation of Millions to Hold Us Back'. Great album by a great band, and this song's intro reminds me of something from a Commodore 64 game. Pwnage.

The Cure - Hot Hot Hot !!!

Of the three Cure CD's I bought this week, this one is definitely my favourite. The bassline is just fantastic...

Kiss Me Kiss Me Kiss Me is sweet, and I will soon be purchasing the double-LP from my local record shop for just 5. Pwned.

Queens of the Stone Age - Song for the Dead

The drumming to this song is awesome, and hearing Mr. Grohl kicking arse behind a drum kit again was truly a great experience when I first heard this.
