Soul Calibur? The only character I can think of offhand that has a weapon that big is Nightmare/Seigfried. Of course, I can't work 'blue' in with that...

Crusher sucks. That's why this is so hard. And my guess is, Timesplitters. From a frotals far zoom angle with teh character facing the screen at an angle with his gun pointed directly at the camera causing it to look far bigger than it actually is. Mush like th "BLUE" cover.

the guy on the right is what is driving me nuts, I can't place it, but the person in the middle with its weapon just reminded me of the punk from kingdom hearts. So without further delay, my half-assed guess is....... Kingdom Hearts....AHAHAHAHA!

All the hints:
* Two and a half game.
* No bosses in part 2.
* The big black thingy in the picture is the main characters weapon.
* This is the first of two games, but it's also the second in "another" series.
* Blue
* It's a 3D game.
