This is old news, but I want to know why a fugitive rapist, living in Paris, hasn't been extradited back to the US to face justice after all of these years. The rape happened in the 1970's.
For those of you that don't know who I'm talking about, I'm referring to Roman Polanski. Roman Polanski is the Oscar-winning director of the Pianist(2003).
Here's the dirt on Polanski........... http://www.vachss.com/mission/roman_polanski.html
This isn't the first time that the French have openly harbored fugitive criminals.
1) Ira Einhorn was a hippy guru from the 70's. He was arrested for killing his girlfriend Holly Maddux in Philadelphia in 1979. Her remains were found in a steamer trunk and had obviously been there for a while. He fled the country. He was tried and convicted in absentia. In 1997 he was arrested in France, but there's a catch. We couldn't get him back unless we promised not to seek the death penalty and grant him a new trial.
2) The French gave cop killer Mumia Abu Jamal honorary citizenship last year. The crime happened in 1981.
As I have said many times before, what is wrong with the French?
