Strong, I love that song too, and most of their songs, too bad another great band has been destroyed by death

Temple of the Dog - Hunger Strike

Pearl Jam AND Soundgarden! Does it get any better? Both Eddie Vedder and Chris Cornell are incredibly talented, and this song shows both.
All I can say is that my life is pretty plain
I like watchin the puddles gather rain
And all I can do is just pour some tea for two
and speak my point of view
But its not sane..
I just want some one to say to me
Ill always be there when you wake
Ya know Id like to keep my cheeks dry today
So stay with me and Ill have it made
And I dont understand why I sleep all day
And I start to complain that theres no rain
And all I can do is read a book to stay awake
And it rips my life away but its a great escape..
All I can say is that my life is pretty plain...

Pretty Girls Make Graves - If You Hate Your Friends, You're Not Alone
Great, great song. I find it hilarious at points, which isn't the point. It's off their Good Health CD, pre-The New Romance, which is, so far, their best CD ever. Also their only major record release.

Modest Mouse - Float On

I don't usually listen to all the indie/garage rock that's around nowadays, but this band are an exception. I really like this song, it's so uplifting. The video is really nice and happy too. Aww...

Currently listening to Collective Soul - Bleed, which continues my current obsession with the band. Theres something incredibly listenable about them, in the same vein as the Goo Goo Dolls, Travis et al, although not in the same style. Splendid.

Oh, and I recently downloaded the Modest Mouse song, superb it is.

Velvet Revolver - Illegal I Song
I like this band. It has the lead singer from Stone Temple Pilots, for those who didn't know. Great, great stuff. Bwahahahaha.

Micheal Andrews - Mad World
Wonderful song. It's a cover of the song by Tears for Fears, which is also a brilliant song. I find that this song is rather peaceful and emotional... I enjoy it far too much for my own good.

KRS- ONE (Knowledge Rules Supreme-Over Nearly Everyone) - Step Into a World.
The Man is a Hip Hop Genius. He's been through so much shit it's rediculous. Plus he has the same atitude towards Hip Hop that I do.

Modest Mouse - This Is A Long Drive With Nothing To Think ABout (album)

Interesting, the first time Ive listened to it and its not too bad, theres a definate Pixies influence in there, amongst other things, that shouldnt be frowned upon. I'll reserve true judgement until a repeat listening though, methinks.

After this, its back to Collective Soul, and their self-titled album. Genius.

Fu</>ck me, double postage time. This threads not as active as usual...

Canibus - Genabis

Superb hip-hop track, quite mellow and definately worth a listen if youre a fan of the genre.

Following up with;

Non Phixion - The CIA Is Trying To Kill Me

Jesus, Im running out of superlatives now for all the songs I keep listening to. How about...um...mumble...nope, cant do it. A revert then, to the old favourite - splendid. That'll do.

Crikey, Im not going to treble post so I'll add an edit to this one. Now listening to 'Lil Jon ft the Eastside Boyz - Throw It Up'. Really good, and contains the backing bit from a classical piece which name escapes me. Might be part of the Requiem, but dont quote me on that. Still, its inspired, and makes for a really good tune. Hip-hop afficendo's might have noticed Ive pulled these tracks from a mixtape from Styles Davis, and without exaggeration, its one of the best Ive heard. Spot on.

Black Eyed Peas - Shut Up.
Off the new album. It's not that bad, although it's not that good either. The song that is.
