Out of Your Mouth - Bla Bla Bla
I was actually quite amazed at how great this band is when I first picked it up. For a Canadian band, they're rather out there and have a very distinctive sound. I love 'em.

Children of Bodom - Chokehold (Cocked 'N Loaded)

This has an great solo section, starting at 2:07. It begins with a small guitar solo. When that's finished, we get a nice little lead guitar riff. We then get a brilliant keyboard solo, which reminds very much me of Kevin Moore. Frickin' sweet...

Kanye West - Two Words
Mos Def killed this track. Simple as that. His whole verse was based on a two word rhyme scheme. As was Kanye's. Sick track.

[ gotnoidea ] - Otherworld

Pretty good metal-song from the Final Fantasy X-soundtrack. I'm trying to find out what the band's name is as we speak.

Meshuggah - Sample from the upcoming EP

I don't know what it's called, but it is fucking awesome. I'm ever so sorry to say I don't own any Meshuggah, but I'm going away today, CD stores here I come...

Nirvana - Blew

Haven't listening to Bleach in fecking ages, so I thought I'd wang it on before I go to bed. Chad Channings drumming on this sucks arse though, the live versions with Mr. Grohl are much preferred, especially for his around the kit fills mid-way through.
Increase the size of your wang - PM crusher the words "poo poo" for extra length now!

Pandemonium - "Emotions from the Deep"
Pretty rare band. All their releases except for Insomnia(album) were released independently, not by a record company. This song is from one of those rare-ass hard to find albums, it r0x so much. Probably the most original melo death band since Opeth. I got it from their official site, too bad the audio quality is total shite.

Alice In Chains - Down in a Hole

It's not just their best song... it's the best song recorded by any band, ever. I'll be ordering 'Dirt' later today...

It's by Nobuo Uematsu. He did all of the Final Fantasy soundtracks, as far as I'm aware. Good track, by the way. I'm not all that into VGM, but I do like that song.

So, Nobuo hired a bunch of "metallers" and made them play that song for the OST?

I'm not entirely sure. I know he did compose it, though. He could well have played the instruments himself.

Did you know Helvete means Hell? Well, the song's name is "Hel Vete", which mean "Full/Whole Knowledge/Wheat" or something like that.

O-Zone - Dragosta din Tei

Can someone please remove this song from my ears?!

Guardians of Time - Point of no Return

Pretty good Norwegian band. Plays melodic power-metal.

Children of Bodom - Aces High

Great Iron Maiden cover. I learnt the solos from Maiden's original version this morning, they were a lot easier than I thought. Children of Bodom's version has a different first solo, then the second solo is played on a keyboard. Delicious.
