Default cool thing (i can't think of a good title :P)

    Question 1:
If you knew a woman who was pregnant, who had 8 kids already, three who were
deaf, two who were blind, one mentally retarded, and she had syphilis, would
you recommend that she have an abortion?

Read the next question before looking at the answer for this one.

    Question 2:
It is time to elect a new world leader, and only your vote counts. Here are
the facts about the three leading candidates.

    Candidate A -
Associates with crooked politicians, and consults with astrologists.
He's had two Mistresses. He also chain smokes and drinks 8 to 10 martinis a
    day.

    Candidate B -
He was kicked out of office twice, sleeps until
noon, used opium in college and drinks a quart of whiskey every evening.

    Candidate C -
He is a decorated war hero. He's a vegetarian, doesn't smoke, drinks an
occasional beer and never cheated on his wife.

Which of these candidates would be your Choice?
Decide first, no peeking, then scroll down for the answer.

    ----------------------------------------------

Candidate A: is Franklin D. Roosevelt.
    Candidate B: is Winston Churchill.
    Candidate C: is Adolph Hitler.
And, by the way, the answer to the abortion question: If you said yes, you
    just killed Beethoven.
Pretty interesting isn't it? Makes a person think before judging someone.
Never be afraid to try something new.

    Professionals built the Titanic

and in case you never saw this one..! .
Can you imagine working for a company that has a little more than 500
employees and has the following statistics:
    * 29 have been accused of spousal abuse
    * 7 have been arrested for fraud
    * 19 have been accused of writing bad checks
    * 117 have directly or indirectly bankrupted at least 2 businesses
    * 3 have done time for assault
    * 71 cannot get a credit card due to bad credit
    * 14 have been arrested on drug-related charges
    * 8 have been arrested for shoplifting
    * 21 are currently defendants in lawsuits
    * 84 have been arrested for drunk driving in the last year
Can you guess which organization this is?

    Give up yet?

Brilliant! I said no and picked B btw, I foresaw they were going to be trick questions. I was surprised at my results nonetheless, and especially who the people were O.o

See, I would care about this topic if I had proof that all these compiled facts were original ideas from your head.

And blah, blah, I'm sure we've all been slammed over the head with "OMG NEVER JUDGE A BOOK BY ITS COVER" for most of our formative years.

I don't need a copy and pasted list of "WOW LOOK AT THE COINCIDENCE" facts.

What's this post for? Nothing, just me being pissy about dull threads.

Someone needs to make some hilarious thread about fat people falling down or eating butter all day soon, before I get over intellectualized to death.

    Hahaha, I'm kidding. I don't care.

oh well you see, I wasn't going to vote for candidate C, becuase well, he's a vegatarian, and might try and impose it on us or something, I was going to vote B, nothing wrong with having done a drug when he was a kid. nothing wrong with drinking a little in the evening.

but now that I know who they are, Hitler was a damn good leader (outside of the killing and wars and stuff) so I might vote C....

Scary, but looking at it from that view, I'd agree. I've actually thought about that before, what if he hadn't gone on to do all the killing? He would be heralded as one of the world's greatest leaders, pulling germany out of a state of powerless government, no economy, no pride, and huge debt to a country powerful enough to conquer Europe, almost the world.... Clearly there was some genius in him, but also far too much insanity and hatred, which led him to take the unfogivable path that he did. Off topic I know, but I couldn't resist.

Juding books by their covers is fun, but don't take my word for it.

(would vote C, agrees that Hitler was a great leader- things you already knew I would say, etc.)

He certainly was one of the greatest and most influencial leaders of the 20th century.. but I thought most people would acknowledge that by now and wouldn't have to be reminded.

you would think so, but some people are just to narrow minded, seeing things in only 1 shade...
