besides the obvious of geting a job (which i have) what are some good money making methods? i read this thing about mailing a dollar to six people and blah blah and a paypal one but it turned out they were cheesy pyramid schemes......does anyone know how ot make money over hte internet or anything fairly simple and perferably online where i can earn some extra cash

Anything too good to be true always is. There are very few real internet money making schemes. The easiest thing is to make a website and load it with affiliates and banners, etc.

making money isnt always easy. you shouldnt need anything more than a day job if you're not trying to live beyond your means

Gather up the wackiest shit you can find(music albums, games, hardware, toys, etc.) and sell it on eBay. You can sell just about anything, just think of rare crap. I've heard of people buying stuff at flea markets/garage sales for a ridiculously low price then selling them for around 5x the price on eBay(as a starting price). Loading a site with banners and crap also works, but you need loads of visitors(so make a warez site ), otherwise you'll only earn chump change every year.
Working at restaurants/bars can be pretty lucrative, especially if you have generous customers(and tip you nicely). I haven't had a job yet, but I plan to get one soon after I move back to the US.
Working at shops is great too, like a game/music shop or a video rental thingy.

Yeah, I'd like to work in a video(game) rental store... But I hate the way they treat lowly employees... And the way those lowly employees take it out on the customer when they don't feel like saying "HAVE A NICE FUCKING DAYOMGKILLME!!"...

    Blockbuster sucks...
