Also try clicking on "Config" then "Sound". Make sure the correct sound plug-in is highlighted on the CONFIG SOUND window and make sure that "Enable Sound", "Enable CDDA", and "Enable XA sound" are checkmarked. Now click on "Configure" and under "XA music" checkmark these options:
Enable XA playing
Change XA speed
and under "Misc" checkmark:
SPU IRQ - wait for CPU action
Hope that helps some.
Also, your best bet on a BIOS is the scph7502.bin file, in my opinion.
