Hangman, have you seen the Boy's Don't Cry clip? The young Robert Smith and the shadow have different headstocks on their guitars.

    Outshined is Soundgarden's best song.

Lateralus, please check out the original Iron Maiden version of The Trooper if you havent already.

Veles and Vivi, please adhere to atleast some of the rules of the thread, so I don't have to open a can of Nazi dictatorship.

    Dio - Holy Diver

I have this album on vinyl, but no turntable. Ronnie James Dio is top 10 vocallists ever...

Between the Buried and Me - Mordecai

Verry nice. Re-ignited my love affair with metal. Hurrah. I like the song from about the minute and a half mark, because I never really had fun listening to growling...don't think I ever will. To un-refined for me.

    Sorry, Slim.
It was stupid of me not to read the rules of the thread.
I'll try not to post here when I listen to a band with National Socialism as it's ideology. Both dictatorships were corrupt, so do not put me in the same boat as the nazis, even though I like some bands that are national socialist.
I though don't know, how Communism is better than the NS? They didn't kill people? No, they tortured them.
Some countries on the time of Communism, along with Estland were with force occupied under the Soviet Union without asking, do we want it or not? Those who refused to wear and salute the red flag of the commies and still bowed down to our own precious tricolour, they were usually imprisoned and tortured for their "deeds." And some people who didn't side up with the communists were sent to the vast and deadly Siberia. And was acting like this right? I don't think it was any better to sit in the cold vast Siberia then in a nazi concentration camp. But still both are corrupt, they killed people with no meaning, Hitler and Stalin and their theories, behind that lies only one truth, all they both wanted was power. But one thing still bugs me, because of the influence from communism, most patriots are also considered sick-minded nazis these days. And I don't like it

Anyway; Manatark - Parallels and Parity

I'm not sure if that was for my behalf or not. But I wasn't calling you a Nazi. If not, disregard that. Don't worry about the rules that much, it just used to be nothing but a post builder, I prefer it as a discussion forum for recommendations and praise.*Trying not to get off on the wrong foot.

Between The Buried And Me - Shevanel Cut A Flip

First song I heard from them, and is just god damn awesome. Toto, if you find either of their albums in Sydney please tell me. None of the stores here can order them and Utopia had nothing last time I went...

That's not Children of Bodom, that's Sentenced. Children of Bodom got one Iron Maiden-cover, and that's Aces High.

    Exodus - Cajun Hell

    Neat song..

They're covering Andrew WK for the next release. Can't wait to hear that.

The Dillinger Escape Plan - 43% Burnt

"I smell that whore. Whoah. Bring me back. Bring me a brick." Simply beautiful lyrics. How I love this song, only Dillinger I can play any of...

Truer words have never been spoken.

Nirvana - Come as you are

It's been over 10 years since his death, and while I wasn't a huge fan of Nirvana, I cannot deny it's impact in the industry. However, I often wonder if Nirvana's legacy is truly built upon their accomplishments, or upon Cobain's tragic demise (Perhaps that should be a thread somewhere? Or does it already exist?). In any event, they had some decent tunes, but I am a huge fan of Dave Grohl, and believe he was the most talented of the them.

Under the Bridge is a great song too btw.

Dave Grohl kicks arse. Foo Fighters beat the fuck out of Nirvana.

    John Arch - Cheyenne

Quite possibly the best song from 2003. 15 minutes of pure progressive metal bliss from the former Fates Warning vocallist...

Recently been listening to a lot of Hip-hop again, but proper songs, not comedy-dreadful trash like Eminem.

Das EFX - Straight Up Sewaside; the whole album, an hour of classic hip-hop, Kaught in da Ak being my personal favourite.

Akon - Locked Up. A good song with a strong meaning, splendid it is.
    Touch my twat.

Again, I couldn't agree more with you Slim.

Probably going to catch some flaming for this....

    Metallica - Fade to Black

It's just awesome, starts out nice and slow, changes direction but flows very nicely with each change. I don't like what Metallica has done outside of music, or their latest music, but this I could listen to all day long.

Nah you won't. I'm pretty much EP's last Nirvana-head, and I pretty much agree with you

The Beatles - A Day In the Life

One of my favorite Beatles tunes, the ending track from Sgt. Peppers. I might play backwards later to see if I can hear the hidden message about Paul, or whatever
