Godspeed You! Black Emperor - Moya

Probably my favourite GY!BE track, this or East Hastings. My Sanity wanted to charge me 52 bucks for this EP. Scon...

Ah, brilliant music. Magus got me into them a little while ago. 'East Hastings' is one of my favourites too, along with 'Sad Mafioso', which is what I'm listening to right now.

Devildriver - "I Could Care Less"
A kind of new Nu metal band, but it's not too bad really. Feels a lot like death metal. Has a little gist of Static X in there, but at least the vocalist doesn't suck.

Legend of Mana - Song of Mana (Ending Theme)

Again, listening Gaming FM.. This sounds ok, some singing and stuff. Sounds more like a pop song :p

    Opeth - Closure

This is one of my favourite songs to play in the world, unfortunately this was not one of the three songs they played from Damnation when I saw them...

Well I'm glad someone here likes GitS besides me.
Anyway, I'm listening to "Return" by Arsis, an awesome new Death Metal band.

Pink Floyd - Have A Cigar

I'm about halfway through Wish You Were Here, one of my absolute favourite albums. I just love the synth tone used for the main riff, this will be in my head all day...

    Red face

    Mortiis - The whole discography
Burzum - Daudi Baldirs and Hlidskjalf

I'm studying for my oral exams (in english, yay!) so I need more ambient music. Mortiis and new Burzum is very good. Darkwave I think.

edit: 10 minutes after I posted this, I received a mail from a friend saying that Quorthon, the mastermind behind Bathory and Black Metals Father, has passed away, only 39 years old.

    Weezer - Dope Nose

Learning the solo from this, great song, from a really cool album. On a sidenote, I highly recommend the Weezer DVD that was recently released...

I'll be purchasing that soon, along with the Redux Blue Album...

The Police - Message in a Bottle
I seem to be getting into these a lot recently, not sure why though. Sting has a great voice, and Stewart Copeland is a fantastic drummer.

Vehemence - Christ, I Fucking Hate You

From the album "God was Created". Death/Gore with melodic-influenced solos and anti-christian lyrics = Super
