Akerie, talk only about what you know. 12000 people didn't die of gun related crimes in the US in ONE year. It was more like 300-500. Bowling for Columbine was written taking in consideration of EVERY death that year, not just guns. If 12000 people died in one year in the US, we'd do something about it. But that HASN'T happened yet, I LIVE IN THE U.S. DUMBSHIT. And in no singular year have 12000 people died due to guns.
We need to stop drug-trafficing. It's when druggie's get their hands on guns that people die.
You take away guns, and were right back in the mid-evil ages. People then lived under harsh and uncontrolled goverments led by corrupt monarchs and religious leaders, and no-one did anyhting about it because of the strict ban on weapons of any sort. That went on for hundreds of years and FINALLY we got out of it, I WON'T LIVE UNDER TIRANY!

The nearest polcie depo around here (i live in rockport, nebraska) is nearly ten miles away, and If my father couldn't own a gun, he would be defenseless against anyone who robbed his truckstop. He's defended himself 5 times, each time the thief was shot and my pops came out alive, and not robbed. We need the right to bear arms or we'll be undefended if that should ever happen again.
