That just means you'll have to take the classes during your summer vacation. So more time spent striking, the less summer vacation you have.

Nawwww... Only if it goes on for a long enough period of time, which i don't think it will. The strike is in support of local health care workers who are also striking, but will probably be legislated back to work soon.

Hmm well then congrats. I guess they will just add a few days. Because I know for a fact schools need to punch in a certain amount of days for it to be considered a school year.

Yes, but there is like a week or so of days that can be missed in the case of weather problems that don't need to be made up. So if it is only a few days I don't think they need to be made up...

When I was in like grade six my school went on strike. First and only time. It was nice! For some reason the governent paid each family 40 dollars a day for each kid that was affected to the strike. So we ended up getting like 800 bucks and no school for 2 weeks! Mom bought me an N64 out of it!

Heh, I took that to the extreme back when I was in school. I think I went through three strikes, and each time I pretended I didn't know school was back on for at least a week. It seemed fair, if they could take a week off, so could I
*PSA* Wii Redump collector's can now unscrub ISO files. So scrubbed games can now be verified. You can find the program to do this here

I don't have class today either, but it's cuz my school decided to label Monday as a holiday(it was really on Saturday). It's the national workers' day in Spain. Most other schools do have class however... heh.
