    I think he/she said $1000 CAD, not US .
Anyway, you could try bidding on them ? Don't you get to bid on tickets over there ? Or is India more advanced than the US & Canada now .

Over here the airline providers let people bid online for expensive tickets and stuff and at times you get them really cheap!

    Lame Canada
Maybe you could look around on some Canadian airlines sites, or stuff, I'm quite sure there might be some company which auctions tickets. Or check on eBay, and stuff ?

Oh, here's one place at Yahoo! Auctions, try it out:

Beware though, a lot of those things are frauds and stuff so you've got to choose your stuff right, and don't go for anything that sounds too cheap since it's likely they'll shove you into an envelope and post you to Japan by snail mail.

I think they're some kind of tickets which you pay for by the mile or something. Or maybe mileage is some company ? Just look around, I'm sure the internet knows what Mileage is =D.
Oh and don't forget to note that it's 350SGD, so make sure you try a conversion. (Xe.com has a good currency converter)
