CuteFTP SUCKS! Please help me!

Do anyone know how to disable CuteFTP when you try to download a file? I'm trying to download a file, but then CuteFTP pops up, but CuteFTP can't download ANYTHING! I can't uninstall it either, cause my brother would kill me... Does anyone know how to disable it?

Cute FTP does suck.. I had a problem similiar to that before..
Never could fix it.. I hghly suggest Bullet Proof FTP over that god awful thing.
If you can't uninstall Cute FTP you should at least install the above mentioned.

It's different than most FTP programs, instead of clicking the file you want to download,
You drag it to the download window and press the "Go" button,
this prevents you from downloading files you don't want.
I has a lot of extra goodies, I use it for all my FTP needs.

cuteFTP rocks

ive never had the problem your speaking of. cuteFTP only loads when i tell it to.
