Advertising trends that need to stop

I know most of us are on the computer mostly, but I have the luxury of having a tv on in my room at the same time. Mostly though, advertisements have been plaguing that screen more often than not. So here's what I'm noticing about them. Trends.

What kind of trends? Stupid ones. I can only name a few.

I hate Old Navy retro-like style commercials. When will they die.

What about those action movies? Don't they follow a trend as well?

I agree. Most the trends nowadays are old and don't make any sence. Why spend over $50 on a shirt that should be out of style?
They need new trends.

Havent noticed any trends. Dont watch tv, but annoying ones are the ones that have HORRID jingles.

I hate some of the ads. Several are just plain stupid. Sometimes I will watch one and go and what was that an ad for?

I like the retro-style clothes that look like they should be out of style.. but the commercials for them are, as many have said already, 'stupid'.

Advertising Trends...I would have to say the trend of lying to sell anything. I also hate the trend of selling everything with sex....it's a bit old IMO.

yeah what especially sucks are the full length commercials on the internet!! but there is one commercial that is the single most genious commercial i have ever seen.... WE LOVE THE SUBS!! COS THEY ARE GOOD TO US!! THE QUIZNOS SUBS!! THEY GOT A SALAD BAR!! BEWARE OF PAPER CUTS!! QUIZNOS SUBS!! the quiznos commercial with the hamsters
