Nah, I think youre spot on with your opinion - it defeats the purpose of the votes system and ruins the view of what they are all about. You've earnt yours by being generous and helpful, but in a much more worthwhile way.
Theres an old adage that springs to mind at this - 'money cant buy you love'; which in fairness is probably bullsh</>it...Micheal Douglas certainly done alright for himself as did that old giffer who bought Anna Nicole Smith. However, I'll give the old bastards who invented the phrase the benefit of the doubt in this case and close the thread.
