I took a quick scan through White Oleander again today. Mallory left it at my place over the weekend and I forgot to give it back to her at school. It's a decidingly charming and enthralling novel; I love it.

I just read "The Greatest Generation" by Tom Brokaw. This book was an excellent read and i recommend it to all of you. The book commemorated WWII people, that weren't recognized as much as they should of. The book is about 400 pages, but its worth reading it.

Otherland: City of Golden Shadow by Tad Williams.
Brilliant novel. It's sort of like Lord of the Rings in that it's four books that were supposed to be one, but they had to release them separately for size and the fact that he has to pay the bills. It's a science-fiction novel about what happens when rich people get a little too greedy. I love it; this is my fourth time reading through the "series." It's about 4000 pages in length.

I've read Tailchasers song by the same author, never got around to reading other land though.

I really recommend it. Tad Williams' is a genius. Otherland is a lot different than Tailchaser's Song, but just as good if not better.

I just finished it today; it's really really good in my opinion. A quick read as well.

I'm currently reading Monsieur or The Prince of Darkness by Lawrence Durell. When I'm done with that, I'm going to go through the Discworld series... How many of those books are there? 26?

Oh yeah, I'm also planning to read Ondskan (The Evil in English?) by Jan Gillou, since I happened to see that elite movie based on it the other day.

Crime and Punishment by Fyodor Dostoyevsky . Just started it, and I like it. Not love, but like.
    I think there's 30 Discworld books.
