Squabbling doesn't work unless you are all ready in the official political arena. Action needs to be taken in order to change the course of something. Which, doesn't happen very often, unfortunately

Maybe not a revolution, but change is always good. Change may not need the guillotine Change may not be good immediately, but one change will change a previous change. So grand human nature is....

I actually send letters to my Representative and I've recieved letters back from him on political things like this.

Not squabbling, and enough generations have already passed, no one's really trying to impose what they feel on anyone else, everyone is entitled to their opinion and to correct others where they feel its appropriate, am just having fun

I'm not sure I understand what you're talking about! Anyway being punished to death sounds like fun sometimes...
Though cutting peoples' thumbs off--F.U.N.!! There's this really silly Indian movie here where this mafia dude is pissed because his model girlfriend's dress doesn't fit her, so he goes to the guy who made her clothes and he sews his thumbs to her dress...thats a cool way of fucking with a guy's thumb!
A common form of torture during the 14th century was hanging a person from his thumbs to the ceiling till he passed out!
    Anyway, totally off topic...

We make fun of George W. Bush, but this morning he was at work bright and early. Okay, he was early.

Those stories about my intellectual capacity do get under my skin. You know for a while I even thought my staff believed it. There on my schedule first thing every morning it said, 'Intelligence briefing.'
    - President Bush, on himself

I don't think Bush is smart enough to kill himself because he's stupid enough to say-- when he celebrated his 100th day in office. When asked about it, Bush said, 'Gosh, 100 days? Has it been a year already?'
