To be honest I don't know yet, I havent paid any attention to Kerrys politics, I normally wait until the Democratic convention is over than start to look.

Although Im pretty sure Im going to end up voting for Kerry unless he has some truly horrible politics. I wonder what his views on stem cell research and scientific funding are.

No matter how many nukes we have, no matter how many nukes any other country has, we will lose in a war against china. No matter what. For one, they are the nation with the most people on earth! One out of every 5 people in the world is chinese! If we went in a war with them, they would not only match our technology and capabilities, but they would outnumber us by too much. If they were to invade off the coast of californina, they could have everything to the mississippi river in under a year. There is no chance we would win, even if we nuked them, there would still be many more to attack us. And the Us won't nuke anyone, we talk like we are big and bad, but we will not use our massive nuclear arsonal, cuz we suck. End of Story.

As for bush, he is only digging our country into a deeper and deeper hole. Our foreign relations are TERRIBLE!

The US spends about 5 times more than China on the military. And they'll be able to match our technology? While our military supremacy has narrowed, we're still on the cutting edge. And, China has to cross an ocean while invading. Good luck getting that many people across the ocean all at once. If I'm correct, we have OK relations with Russia. They're right next-door to China. Couldn't they launch an attack on China? They have good military capability, too.

I can't believe I just heard that...........You want military spending to decrease in the middle of our War on Terror? I guess the worst attack since Pearl Harbor still isn't a justification to have a strong military today.

American Empire? LMAO...........Yeah, Iraq is on the path to becoming an American puppet like Japan ,Germany, the Phillippines, Grenada, Mexico, South Korea, etc............

We had a monopoly on nuclear weapons for 3 years after World War II and we didn't nuke Moscow and take over the world even though we had a massive army in post-war Europe. We are the most anti-imperialist hegemon in existence to this date. This nonsense about American imperialism is ridiculous. Compared to other world powers in history, America is the lesser of evils.

Except the fact Hussein had nothing to do with 9/11. A justifiction for a strong military? We don't have already have a strong military? By far the best in the world isn't good enough?
I was refering to PNAC w/ regards to the American Empire. No we don't have anything close to that now, but democratizing the Middle East is just the start.

And why is communism so bad? It can work in theory, but what's so evil about it?
To name a few reasons, lack of human rights such as freedom of speech, expression, religion, the press, fair trial, etc.........

Imprisonment for speaking against the government or policies...........If we had a regime like North Korea, you would be malnourished and you would be jailed for criticizing your leader...........

Under communism, doctors get paid as much as janitors...........Under communism, lazy(or slow) workers get paid the same amount as a hard working, efficient worker........

Since there isn't a profit incentive, professionals will most likely do mediocre work since they aren't getting rewarded enough for their skills..........I am against socialized healthcare because I don't want my dentist doing half-a$$ed work like most European dentists.

    No profit incentive=Lower quality............

I guess you've never heard any of China's threats to invade the "rogue democratic province" of Taiwan if they ever officially declare their independence from the Communist mainland...........

Taiwan is one of our allies and we have a treaty with them to ensure that they PEACEFULLY reconcile their differences with the mainland..........

If China decides to invade, our navy would intervene against the Chinese............Clinton sent some carriers to the Formosa strait once to deter such Chinese saber-rattling............

Not even our CIA told Bush to go in Iraq because they NEVER said "Imminent Threat"
Yeah, that is what Neville Chamberlain said..............Churchill wanted to eliminate the threat of Hitler while it was still weak, but instead they waited for him to get stronger even though he violated the Versailles Treaty many times before. Instead of having a war that would be shorter and less bloody for the Allies, they waited for Hitler to make a surprise offensive on Europe. The French became Vichy and the British had Dunkirk.

The US deposed Saddam before he could become an imminent threat to the world. There is evidence that France, Russia, China, etc. have sold the Iraqi military weaponry despite violating the sanctions. Someday, the UN was going to lift the sanctions on Iraq, and Saddam(or his sons) would rebuild his WMD program quickly after that. I'm glad Saddam didn't use(or have) WMD's in our recent war on our troops because I don't want to see hundreds of our troops die in a single day of battle.

You like criticizing Bush about the lack of WMD's in Iraq, but you would probably be just as critical about the war if Saddam killed many of our soldiers with chemical weapons. Therefore, you would always be critical of Bush even if he did something that was obviously successful and good for the country and the world.

Interesting, however I still don't see how 27% is equivalent to half. That report mentions an increase in the number of people applying for VA benefits. I wonder if it is somehow involved with the massive unemployment rate that Bush Jr. and Sr. have in common.

You misunderstood my statement and have overreacted.

Reagan, post all your comments in a single post rather than just making a post for every quote that you argue against. There's no need to triple-post. I can't be bothered replying to anything you've said until I think you've finished.

    6. Eliminate opposition to the ruling party.

Reagan: I don't see the liberal news media reporting about the Fascist Republicans jailing Democrats simply because of their views. Oh no, did the Dixie Chicks and Michael Moore go to prison yet?

According to John Ashcroft, I am a terrorist. And by reading this far, you are too.

    Reagan: Sure he does..............

I can't help it. I like to read. I prefer to form my OWN opinion. I wouldn't kill or hurt anybody, but our attorney general has defined terrorism as even speaking against the government and holding opposing views.

Reagan: Yeah, Bush is going to have the Feds raid the headquarters of MoveOn.org any moment now.

So if you need me, I'll be over there with the other terrorists. Oh, no, not the real terrorists. I mean George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Martin Luther King, Rosa Parks, Susan B. Anthony, and everyone else that has strived for something better.

Reagan: Yeah, MLK and Susan B. Anthony killed many civilians with their extremist movements.

Right after 9/11, The Bush Administration was quick to capitalize on the death of innocent Americans by declaring that dissent and opposing views (also known as reason and common sense) are now un-American.

Reagan: Yes, Bush is blacklisting members of Hollywood for their outspoken "un-American activism" and having their citizenship revoked before deporting them.

How dare you speak out against our government. Remember 9/11!

    I am. That's why I'm writing this.

Reagan: You are writing this because you are a Leftist reactionary.

Bush furthered this fascist notion with his "You're either with us or against us" policy he announced on November 5th, 2001.

Reagan: Actually, it's directed toward states that sponsor terrorism NOT our citizens.

All of a sudden being anti-war, even questioning a single government action, has become "anti-American." Anti-War protesters are accused of not supporting our troops?

Are you kidding me? Is there any BETTER way to support our troops then by GETTING THEM OUT OF A WAR?

Reagan: Yeah, support pulling our troops out of Iraq prematurely before it achieves democratic stability so that Bush will be blamed for creating another failed state with a terrorist cesspool. Or support your troops by not letting them do their job of eliminating terrorist fanatics.

What kind of backwards logic is this? The troops are going to hear about a large portion of their countrymen protesting for their return, for their removal out of harms way, and get demoralized because they WANT to be stuck in the desert right in the middle of bullets and a seemingly infinite number of suicide bombers? Of course not!

Reagan: Actually, the troops become demoralized when they hear that people aren't supporting their efforts to win the war and want them to retreat like wimpy French surrender monkeys before the job is done. Yeah, the troops would really love to see their mission fail and the lives of their lost comrades be meaningless.

Why are these "Americans" that so adamantly support a war to "free" people the first to try to take someone else's away? These people with their backwards oppressive jingoism would fit better on Saddam's side.

Reagan: I haven't seen this oppressive Ashcroft Fascism that he speaks of yet. Yes, supporters of this war would like to see the anti-war people gassed like the Kurds. Saddam is my idol too.

If irony was a constitutionally protected figure of speech, John Ashcroft would take away this section.

Reagan: Yeah, Ashcroft is going to have your family tortured by that Gestapo of his and he'll personally rape your girlfriend.

All right Jimmy, I'll try to cut down on the quantity of posts.........

Oh yes, you make this all too easy. Tell me, do you listen to FOX news? Are you aware they got sued for not showing the public the truth? Hiding facts? Are you aware they won because they said they don't have to tell the public everything? Are you aware that America's journalism contains a subjective view, whereas someplace as England has a more objective view in their news? Sorry, I'm not another brainless person, I know that there are better things out there, not just worse. Or do you think Dragons live in England?
As a matter of fact, I do watch Fox News daily. Are you aware that CNN didn't show the public the whole truth either in Iraq when Saddam was in power due to their fear of getting kicked out if they gave him negative reporting? Are you aware that the BBC was kicked off a British carrier because the naval crew didn't appreciate their anti-war spin? Are you aware that most of the media in America has a liberal bias just like the BBC of England?

Yeah, England's media is more objective with their unsubstantiated accusations that Blair "sexed up" pre-war intelligence and Princess Dianna assassination conspiracies.........
