It was something I read a while back. I think it might be in relation to another hardware device.

torpedo009: You get a vote from me for just saying u use and have gentoo.

GENTOO is the best, FASTEST linux distro there is, as long as you do a level 3 installation. I had to chicken out on my last install, I was haveing a hell of a time trying to get the new kernal 2.6 to run on my webserver.

Debian would come close second, It seems that mostly the debian group are more intrested in security then anything which is a big plus, anyone who can install debian, I salute u.

For ease of use and install Suse would rank next. Great overall distro. If only I could get my hands on a 9 pro, too bad they don't make that Open to the public.

Graphics, and 3D polygons don't make great games, story-lines do!!

My friend uses Gentoo and now I can see its capabilities in relation to the mainstream distro's if I ever get a decent pc and decide to go with linux it WILL be gentoo I use.

If your a n00b (like me really ) it would be alot easyer to rely on SUSE. I personally dont listen to common sense and will go with the far more complex but infinitely better gentoo!

My mate can help me at any point I get stuck anyway
