Hey, i was thinking, Maybe the entire game should take place in the cyber world.
Oppinions?
And you could get KB instead of gold and the whole using videogame powers would make alot more sence.
Or it can take place in the cyber and real world or something.

hmmm. i sort of like the story that's been developed so far and they cyberworld would sort of wreck that. in the end, tho, its ur game and u call the shots. btw maybe we should remind people that this game is still being worked on and get them to start helping out again.

well in both worlds, just half in each.
But it would be a little shakey if i did that. So just small bits of the game, the internets supposed to be destroyed anyways so they COULD login at the servers they find only. with a limited amount of cyber world.

But i want this to be a community effort.
Im just a coordinator, its emuparadises game.

vanit's causing problems, sanitarium. voice acting in his game really ought to be in a different thread. THIS thread is about an attemp to make an RPG based on Emuparadise.

Fido, like I said before, it'd be pretty cool if we could get everyone to submit their own sprite of themselves for the project if they want to be in the game. It'd get everyone involved, with the alternative of being shafted out of the game, and when people are already actively contributing to the project it won't take much for them to give a little more help. After working on the sprites, they'd wanna see the game in action, work on their character's lines, try to bribe you into making their character an integral part of the storyline, that sorta thing... For instance, I'd be willing to make my own theme music, just expect it to be as abrasive as I am.

However, I can't be bothered actually doing things which involve thinking. Find me a good, small prog for making sprites of the type required for RM2k3. I don't know what file format I'd need to save in, as I don't have the Maker... If you want, you could make a thread in free 4 all with a link to download the same prog in order to attract more attanetion and get everyone into it... Just my suggestion, mind you.

For character sets you need to save it as a png file with indexed color of 256.

To make a sprite for yourself. You need 7-8 character sets on each sheet to make it a valid size for rm2k/3. For example, my attached image.
