Andrew WK - She Is Beautiful

Nearly everyone I speak to hates Andrew WK, but there is a certain cheesy cheerfulness in his music that I find irresistble. Even if all his songs do sound the same. Tsk.

    Pantera - Hollow

One of my favourite Pantera songs, alas one of their most under-rated. It's quite similar to 'Cemetery Gates', in the sense that it starts calmly with an acoustic guitar, before turning into full-blown, out-and-out heavy metal. Awesome...

    Rise Against - Great Awakening

The first RA song I ever heard. Got me into them.

Good Riddance - West End Memorial

Almost sounds like a goth song with the mad voice and guitar distortion, but its got punk rhythm.

    Madonna - American Life

My music collection was deleted, so I'll have to rely on what my pop-whore friends sent me. Jesus, this is bad...MY MUSIC IS GONE. :'(

I Get Wet comes very cheap if you havent got it already. It's very good for the price. I saw it for 5 bucks, after I paid 25 for it. Ugh...

    Megadeth - Hangar 18

Makes extensive use of what is undoubtedly my favourite chord, D minor. Intro is awesome, goes downhill htereafter however. From 1990's Rust In Peace...

    Blackstreet - No Diggity

A conversation made me think of this song. Later _bought_ it as soon as possible. Formerly my "favourite", back when I was a 10 year old tool. Utter shite, although it does bring back some good memories.

Cheers Johnny for the info, I already have a copy of the cd - not that I can play it for fear of ridicule...I dont understand some people, I really dont.

Anyway, now listening to NoFx - One Way Ticket To ****neckville before I go to work, because its a ****ing brilliant tune, and its great to listen to in the mornings.

Yasunori Mitsuda - Gathering Stars in the Night Sky

Like all his other compositions for Xenogears, this is just as beautiful.

Dayglow Abortions - I Want To Be An East Indian

I like the song. It reminds me when I thought of AFI as hardcore rawk. Ha. How wrong I was...
The only reason I have it is because Matt sent it to me and I didn't put it into my Music folder, which got deleted.

    Opeth - Godhead's Lament

Track 2 on Still Life, and my second favourite from the album, after The Moor. The opening riff is one of those which for some odd reason, I assumed would be hard to play, but it isn't so I've been playing it all morning...
