Dead Kennedys - Holiday in Cambodia

Sounds positively dinosaur like in comparison to ATDI, TMV and DT but meh...has good enough lyrics to come back to.

    Machine Head - Imperium

To be honest, when I first heard this song, it sounded kinda generic to me. But when it reached 4:34, I ate my words as it started to build up into one of the finest thrash riffs I've ever heard! It could almost give James Hetfield and Kirk Hammet a run for their money. Now, this is what 'St. Anger' should have sounded like...

Less Than Jake ~ How's My Driving Doug Hastings?

I'm pretty sure this song's about getting really wasted and trying to drive home...I'm gonna have to check on that one.

Yes - Close To The Edge

Sexy. There's no other word for it. It has technical goodness, good sounding lyrics, an ORGAN (organs pwn). So basically, the song just pillages your villages.

Coheed and Cambria ~ Sister Christian

It's a cover they did acoustically. It's not half bad. They put it together and on their website as a gift for their fans. I would have prefered something more like them, something that was as good as Everything Evil or Neverender or A Favor House Atlantic...but this was probably put together on a whim so it's still pretty good. And it shows Claudio's crazy vocal range.

    At The Drive-In - Cosmonaut

Applies arsekickings. The third song I heard them play live, and the first ATDI I ever really liked. From 2001's "Relationship of Command"...

Did you get to see the mlive before they broke up. At that time, I listened to music about once a month.

    Verve - Bittersweet Symphony

As I've said time and time again, classical influenced shit gets my motor running. Yummy violins.

Yeah I saw them at the BDO in 2001.

    Dungeon - Stormchaser

I spoke of them in the local bands thread, they are really cool. Melodic Thrash cross Power Metal type stuff. And all the members frequently post at their board at ultimatemetal.com. Awesome...

None More Black - The Ratio of People to Cake

So this is like my new favourite song of the moment, by my new favourite band of the moment, the lead singer of which was formerly in my former favourite band of the moment, Kid Dynamite... That probably didn't make sense...

Very good choice! I like this record too!

At this moment, I'm listening to:

Tom McRae - Just Like Blood

I just bought this CD 2 days ago (there was a reduction of price: 9 euros)!! A very beautiful album!

    Chimaira - Down Again

This song can be found on their 'The Impossibility Of Reason' record. One of those songs that sounds ****ing great when played at full volume. It makes me wish I had a padded room, just so I could bounce off the walls like a stoned monkey when listening to it...
