@Ozone - Can't go wrong with them mate, but the best album is Origin Of Symmetry.
@Lateralus - Read the thread rules.

    Mastodon - Shadows That Move

Fucking great technical metalcore band. This song opens with a quote from "One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest". Great movie, great song.

"I'm talking about my life, I can't seem to get that through to you. I'm not just talking about one person, I'm talking about everybody! I'm talking about form! I'm talking about content! I'm talking about inter-relationships! I'm talking about god, the devil, hell, heaven! Do you understand?! Finally?!"...

Coheed and Cambria ~ In Keeping Secrets Of Silent Earth: 3

It's the title track from their latest cd. It starts out as pretty good...then the chorus is wicked good...then it degrades to OK, then the last two minutes are amazing with a huge chorus (not the song's, a singing chorus). Well something has to be amazing in 8 minutes of music.

    Opeth- Orchid

I would tell you what song it is, but Magus neglects to give me the names when he burns the cd's

Planes Mistaken For Stars - Fucking Fight

Great hardcore band, who I have not heard much from. Less than 2 mins long however, which is probably the only thing I don't like about hardcore, short songs...

    Chimaira - Pure Hatred

Pretty good song, from the last album ('The Impossibility of Reason'). Need to get hold of some of their CDs, as I'm planning to go and see them live in February...

    Linkin Park ~ Faint

The only good LP song in a long ****ing time. Meteora, despite what everyone says is IMO ****ing horrible. Except for Faint. Faint is amazing.

    Korn - Did My Time

From their newest CD. I believe it's also on the Tomb Raider II soundtrack, but I'm not sure. I know one of their songs is... I love this one.

Iron Maiden - Dance Of Death (Orchestral Version)

I picked up the Rainmaker and Wildest Dreams singles today, this was a b side on the Rainmaker single, very little difference between it and the album version...

Indeed it is from the Tomb Raider II soundtrack, Miss. Jolie is even in the video.

The Cure - Why Can't I Be You?

Picked up the vinyl single yesterday, I've been listening to more of their late 80's/early 90's pop music recently, and I absolutely adore it.

    Lagwagon ~ Owen Meaney

Wicked good song. A long intro, but it's still really good. I read the book Prayer for Owen Meaney too...it wasn't too too bad.
