Default What are you getting for christmas?

I understand that some people might not live with their parents so they may not get as much stuff as those that do. Christmas is the time of the year for children to mooch presents off everyone. Being 14 I'm still part of that network so here is what I'm getting for Christmas.

    Super Nintendo
    Megaman X Cartridge
    Final Fantasy 3 Cartridge
    Final Fantasy 2 Cartridge
    Starfox Cartridge
3 Final Fantasy 7 Posters (Click here to see)
11 Final Fantasy X-2 Posters (Click here to see)
A Ps2 and GameCube game I'm yet to choose
    And some other stuff.

No this is not my Christmas list from 10 years ago. I thought it might be a good idea to experience a Snes first hand.

So what are you getting for Christmas?

I hope I'll get a new cellphone from my parents. And I will probably get a PS2 game as well. Besides that, I know nothing else.

Geeze, that's a lot of stuff for one christmas Vanit . All I'm actually asking for this year is a premodded PS2 and I'm leaving the rest up to chance.

I'm not relly sure what I want yet. I just got my GameCube for my birthday, so I'm more than likely going for some sort of games... I also saw an LCD screen for GCN that kind of had me interested.

I would of thought so too, but my dad recently got married and my step mum wants to spend a lot of money on me. I'm not one to argue with that .

I am asking for Prince of Persia for my PS2.

    BTW

Does anyone here know why we celebrate Christmas?
Christmas is the celebration of the birth of Jesus who was God's son and died on the cross to save to sins of all mankind of they accept him.

I have no clue what I'm getting for Christmas. I haven't asked for anything really. My parents always pull through though.

I'm not getting a damned thing for Christmas, and that's fine with me. I'm really annoyed by people who put the emphasis on gifts at Christmas time, as if that's what it's about. People like that bother me to no end, and as a result, I've come to hate this time of year and the commercialism that it's come to represent.

I really don't care about Christmas presents. I find that it's a total waste of money save for buying one very special gift for that special someone, not a ton of gifts for people who you sometimes don't even like.

How are you getting FFXI for Christmas, when it doesn't even hit till next year?

And how does me hating the commercialism of this "holiday" make me a grinch? That's just a stupid thing to say. I doubt any of you even know why you celebrate Christmas. There's something inherantly wrong with the fact that Santa is recognised as the icon of Christmas, and noone really even remembers the true purpose of the day.....

EDIT: Look at Vanit's list. I mean jeez. It's shit like that that sours this time of year for me. This holiday is about the greed, and that bothers me to no end.

Speaking of Commercialism, has anyone seen Nvidia's new marketing ploy? Absolutely stupid if you ask me.

Anyway, back on topic. Yeah, some people go a little overboard on Christmas. Meh, my favorite holiday is Halloween anyway.
