Douglas Adams owns. I thought his later books in the "Hitchhiker's Guide" series weren't as good as the first, but they are still better then most of your average shit out there.![]()

No idea. The guy I talked to said it would come out in December. Then again, he seemed like an idiot. I'll see if Chapters has it.Originally posted by Zuljin

I have CoT in PB....should be out at your place too....
unless I've misunderstood the whole concept of PB ^^
Well, finished reading "the morningstar" by david gemmell, i red almost all of his books
i red the english version, becouse we didn't have the translated version in the library, and i like reading english books better
I also just finished "the truth" by terry pratchett, (also english) and am starting on "kingdom of the wall" by robert silverberg.
So, i read a lot..bite me.
i just finished reading Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck for English class. i now have to read Jurassic Park (can't remember the author) for biology and i will have to find a nonfiction book 4 English.
Kingdom Hearts strategy guide. That counts as reading, right?
Hmm. Just a question: what novels are you guys looking forward to? I've been waiting for the release of Bard's Oath by Joanne Bertin since about 2001.![]()
novels...I can't think of any novels I'm looking forward to.
I just got done with "An Inquiry into the Causes of the Wealth of Nations," aka "The Wealth of Nations." It was for my Economics Class. *_* Adam Smith tends to sound ranty and lectury, and goes on and on about something at times, but overall, it's a good read.
Next, I'm thinking of Picking up George Orwell's "1984." People say that it's a good book but I've been putting off reading this book for some time. (Busy...)
Get it, you need it.
Tom Tommorrow - The Great Big Book Of Tommorrow
Nothing like a big fat book of cartoons to waste the uneventful hours of the day with. Seeing as though it's a career retrospective, the 200+ pages of wordy comics is more of an omnibus on political events of the last decade than you might expect...
The last book I read was Left Behind and now I am currently reading Tribulation Force they are good books let me tell you. I am also in the middle of a John Grishim book The Client and a Dean Koontz book called False Memories. I know I read way too many books at once lol....
i finished ray bradbury's From the Dust Returned and now i'm reading One of Us by Michael Marshall Smith. it thinks it a movie coming out soon

Ypu'l always find me reading a sattire or fantasy, I tihnk I have to agree with Cyberxion on the fact that Douglas Adams DOES own. I usually read a bit of Terry Pratchett, currently halfway through Good Omens. Sometimes I'll read a bit of good ol' Terry Brooks, but only when Im in one of those nostalgic moods (Sword of Shannarha was one of the first books I ever read, not counting those 2 page popup books.)
I also write a bit, but that'd be off subject, wouldn't it?
