Actually, that looks pretty good, on a certain level. I don't see John Travolta playing a very good bad-guy there, though; it looks like all they did was slick back his hair and make him talk dirty.

I'll have to see it to know for sure, though.

They have an punisher movie that came out in the early 90s. Surprised to see a new one in development though.

Hehe, the old Punisher movie was pretty awful though, was it Dolph Lundgren who played the lead role in that, I forget now. Maybe Jean Claude... I'm interested to see how this new one turns out though, looks not bad.

I think Thomas Jane looks rather like the recent Steve Dillon drawn Punisher in a way, so I can dig him as Frank Castle. The trailer looked rather interesting, so my interest is certianly piqued. Between this, Hellboy, Spiderman 2, Blade III and the FF 4 movie, next year is going to be sweet for comic book fans.

I wonder if Nick Fury will be on this movie as he was with punisher on the arcade game.

Indeed, the future seems bright with all those movies and many more to come (Elektra, Catwoman, a new Batman...)
I gotta check this trailer too... the old Punisher movie was pathetic, the Punishers white skull only showed in his knife :/

Have you seen Halle Berry's Catwoman costume? Ugh. The movie could still be good, but man...the costume is craptastical.
