    Default Bandwith limit

My sister just got internet in her room and she is sucking up all the bandwith with Kazaa...very annoying... So I was woundering if anyone knows if there exists any software to limit the bandwith for certain PCs? (software that works with Windows 98)

I also have a router (Vigor2200 series) but I dont seem to find any settings for it that can limit the bandwith.

    Any help is much appreciated

I don't know if kazaa lets you do this but I know you can throttle the bandwidth on winmx, emule and bit torrent. It only throttles it for that program though, not the whole computer. That could be a place to start.

You can limit the bandwith for uploads, at least. But the firewall will block those anyway ^^

yay! I wish I could help you piss off your sister, but I cant.
I am behind a firewall/router and I can upload, you have to be a total jerk to stop sharing files in a filesharing community, feel ashamed anyone who does that!

I think there's a program called "NetLimiter" that would help you control the bandwidth usage by your sister...

Well there's also a non technical method. Very simple to use. Simply go into her room and tell her if she doesn't stop hogging the bandwidth you'll kick her arse. Worked for me

Amazing! neogeomad: that worked for me too! great minds think alike.

Netlimiter is a great program I use it.

Graphics, and 3D polygons don't make great games, story-lines do!!
