I'd not trust Game-Informer on this one. I think I'll hold of on being excited until I see this posted in reputable magazines and gaming websites. I'd imagine that if this were true, we'd have heard about it before now. Gaming mags are behind on the news when compared to websites, and not a single site out there has made mention of this exciting news. If this ends up being true, then great. I just wouldn't start believing it just cause Game Informer reports it....
EDIT: While browsing news-sites for even a tiny iota of information on a possible FFVII remake, I came across something interesting on IGN's PS2 site. They said something along the lines that "FFVII will be officially unveiled 11/19". However, they weren't clear on wether or not this meant Advent Children, or a remake. I guess I'll have to keep my eyes on this story to see what developes.

First off, I have a subscription to GI. I got it free when I signed up with Software Etc used game discount program. I'd not pay a single cent for that piece of shit magazine otherwise. Second, are you sure those aren't the same shots of FFVII Advent Children that have been making thier rounds on the net recently? Again, I'll believe this story when I see the news posted elsewhere.

That's what I thought. So this is another case of where Game Informer misrepresents information. They got the screens of the FFVII movie, and without checking thier facts, proclaimed the existance of a FFVII re-make. Y'know, I guess they could still be right. I doubt it, but you never know. I guess I'll continue to wait for confirmation from a mag/website with a better reputation then GI.

Oh, there's no doubt that Advent Children is real. I just would've thought that if Square announced a FFVII remake, it'd be HUGE news.

I'd like to see a remake, but I have to agree with the others that they've probably just confused it with Advent Children, especially since, prior to Advent's announcement, one of the speculations was a remake of FFVII...

Nope. No drinking. I wanna lay off the booze for awhile and get healthy, y'know? Anyway, that is a shame about FFVII though. I'd have liked to have seen a remake, or a sequal.
