    also, don't make a point of being the first ones through the door. Be in the middle of the crowd. By the time you make it up there they are already sick of their job. Unless they are total jerks they don't care one way or the other if you are 18, they just want their check. So if you go in when they are fatigued and sick of carding people, they're personal objective then is "checking everyone takes too long. let's just get this over with". By the way, you have a fine taste in music.

    I don't know if this theory works, however it usually works for me! Try to talk with a serious voice, i.e. a little low and not too child like. Say you wanted to get served with alcohol, I would usually go to a pub and ask, most places would serve me, as long as I spoke with a low voice and the people in the place were almost ALL students! That usually works for me, I suppose the same could work for concerts, movies et cetera; some people are VERY gulible!

    Im 22 and still get carded (even for cigarettes) everywhere i go it sucks sometimes i dont have ID with me and they refuse to serve me.

    hey, I think if you go with most of the other advice, arriving in your own car surely helps you look mature and older than you may be.
    I would definately believe the confidence advice, if you are confident enough that you almost believe it yourself, it makes you a very beleavable person.
