    Bad Astronaut - The Passenger

Bad Astrnoaut is kind of a split band. The singer is from Lagwagon and the rest are from well know fat wreck chords band. I like their music. I may be a little boring for some people, but hey..

Coheed and Cambria ~ Delirium Trigger

Oh man this song got me into Coheed. It's a trippy sort of song. It, like all the band's other songs, is a chapter in a grand story. This one's pretty much the "Oh shit, we're ****ed!" song. It's off their first CD, and is one of the best songs off of it.

Strapping Young Lad - Room 429

Very Industrial sounding, and very different to their other stuff. It's slow, clean vocals, but it's great. From 1997's City. I'm unstickying this now, but by no means stop posting in it...

    Metallica - Fade To Black

Not SYL? I'm learning this song on guitar, I have the heavy riffs down, but I'm not up to speed in between the chords in the main riff. From 1984's Ride The Lightning...

    Vendetta Red ~ Ambulance Chaser

Probably the only mellow song off of "Between the Never and the Now." It's not bad. I just wish their lyrics didnt suck ass, then Vendetta would be an incredible band.

Dream Theater - As I Am

Listened to this many, many times now. The solo is very Zakk Wylde-esque. And I don't like LaBrie's little James Hetfield Yeah sound that he throws in...

I've tried playing this, I can only keep up downpick that fast for about 30 seconds. Great headbanging song, and I'll be moshing to it live in a few days time. Love the lyrics too. Fighting for Jesus through prices of oil...

    Strapping Young Lad - Consequence

They sure do love their tremelo picking, it really shows in this, this is what I would have picked for the single, but they went with Relentless. This was very metal of them, as it has a lot less commercial appeal. Deep lyrics . I love you. I love you. Fight! Fight! Fight! Fight!...
