John Williams - Back to the Future Theme

I think it's impossible to pick a favourite theme of his, he's just erm...amazing, they're all so good... But this has always been one I liked, Back to the Future is one of my favourite films of when I was younger, so this theme ALWAYS sticks in my head...

    Down - Bury In Smoke

Phil Anslemo just can't do a thing wrong, the man can start a metal band with a somewhat blues element to them and pull it off, oh and this song is awesome.
    Trogdor, Trogdor

    Trogdor was a man
    Uhh...Maybe he was a Dragon-Man
Uhh...Maybe he was just a Dragon
    Uhm...but he was still

    Trogdor, Trogdor

    Burninating the countryside
    Burninating the peasants
    Buriniating all the people
    in their Thatched Roof Cottages

    Thatched Roof Cottages

And The Trogdor Comes in The Night.

All metal has a somewhat blues element, fool. But I know what you mean. Especially since I've heard one Down song once, and that's all I ever plan on hearing.

Superjoint Ritual - Everyone Hates Everyone

Pantera and Hatebreed had a child. Beautiful. In other Pantera related news, Dime and VP are soon to announce the name of their project, releasing an album in January. No longer called New Found Power, they said it will pick up right where Pantera left off...

Deftones - Shut up and drive

This is my all time favourite deftones track i think, change being a close second.

Abe's drumming always seems simple but its very tight, awsome vocals and guitar riffary as usual!

    Gotta love that bridge section

Out of Reach by The Get Up Kids

Its hard to comment on this one cause this is the first song I'v heard by them and it just started but so far its pretty good, its all acoustic sounding

    Hatebreed - We Still Fight

From last year's Perseverance, this is brutal hardcore. I don't own any of their album's yet, but I very much need to.

    Senses Fail ~ Bloody Romance

I'm in a really good mood today, but I also really wanted to listen to this song. It's incredible IMO. It has a great melody too...if that's even the right term...probably not...

    Nickelback - Someday

Generally I am opposed to this band, but this song hit me pretty good, since it's covering a lot that's happening in my life right now. Alas, the music video was stupid, and I've started to turn away from it since I've been in a bit of a better mood lately - in spite of not sleeping - so, it's off the playlist now.

Slayer - Seasons In The Abyss

Learnt 4 riffs from this yesterday, a bit slow for them, but still great thrash metal. I might add also that Jeff Hanneman is the best lricist in the world...

    Mars Volta - Inertiatic Esp

They're just too good. Lyrics that make no sense, which is better than some lyrics that do make sense, assuredly, byt they play like it's comign back in ****ing style.

    Slayer - Angel Of Death

Best lyrics ever. Main riff is hella fun to play, and a lot easier than it sounds, now that I have tremelo picking down. Great album, Reign In Blood. It's just so aggressive. Anyone who can listen to it without headbanging has problems...

    Slayer - Bloodline

It's heavy as fuck. Tuned in Drop C# I think. Great vocals were a surprise aswell, as Araya isn't really their strong point. From God Hates Us All or the Dracula 2000 soundtrack...

The Used ~ Just A Little

Just started listening to them. They're alright. Sometimes annoying, but overall not bad. This is my fave by them right now
