    Talking Shaolin Soccer, anyone?

I just recently got the chance to see the original chinese version of this movie, & i must say, I was surprised at how different the U.S. movie previews show this movie to be. This movie is Hilarious! I'm waiting to see the U.S. version just to see what they edit out. I hate seeing an edited version of anything before i see the original.. Anyone have comments about this great movie?

It's odd... Very, very odd... But amusing in a crazy kind of way. And pretty enjoyable

Yeah This movie is great~ seen it about 3 times... then I got to see the next movie that the same director created... it's about cooking.. hehe. It's half as good as shaolin soccer but half as good as that movie is lets say.... 100 times better than that FF movie....

anyways just watch it~ you won't be dissapointed.

ohh and another thing... This was the first time i had ever seen this happen... When i watched this movie in japan at the theaters when the movie was over the people that watched it stood up and started clapping... I don't know about movies that you have seen but a standing ovation in a theater was the first for me... not only that it was Japanese people that did it... the normally shy don't do anything "odd" people did that....

    yeah... good movie~~

Happen to know the name of the cooking movie? I'm interested in seeing it now if it's by the same guy.

I've watched both of them and hmm...I seem to prefer God of Cookery over Shaolin Soccer. The part where the Shaolin monks appeared whas especially hilarious. It's probably because of my love for cookery.

Whenever a movie is edited by the USA, the translator makes it sounds horrible.
