    Unfortunately I hardly ever get the chance for a clear view of the stars, as living in Britain the sky is very rarely free of clouds and when it is light pollution spoils the scene somewhat. So the vast likliehood is that Ill miss out on this visual feast of astronomic proportions. Sorry, and all that.

    it's supposed to be the closest in 50,000yrs.my local newspaper astrologer is going nuts over it.

    August is the best time to view Mars cause its closest. I think that Mars is suppose to be closer to Earth this year than it has been for a few thousand years. So as much as I'd like to be crushed by Mars, chances are it won't happen
