Star Ocean: The Second Story is a fantastic RPG. I don't think the main male (You can choose at the beginning) character has purplish/blue hair though... I think it was blonde.

Didn't Rena in Star Ocean 2 have purpilish hair, or was it blue? I know it was one of the two colors, and I mistook her for a guy at one point. Not sure about the shopkeeper part, though.

I dont remember too much about this game besides the fact that it was a game where you were in a Robot and one was like a spider and that could climb on the roof and walls, and when it was Multiplayer mode player 1 was red and 2 was blue. The single player mode you would fight people and bosses would be in robots atfirst... then as you went on the normal people were robots and it was just a fun game... Sorry if its too vauge but thats all i remember. It was for SNES

I think you might be talking about Metal Warriors.

As you may have guessed there is a game that I want to remember what it is but just simply am not able to. Here is what I remember of about it and I hope my memory is good because I havent played or even seen this game for a long time.
Ok, it's an arcade game. It was a side scrolling beat em up game in the genre of streets of rage and the like. The unique part about it was that everyone (I think) was on roller skates. I know I'm not thinking about the character in streets of rage that is wearing roller blades just to get that out of the way before someone asks me if that's it. If I remember correctly everyone is wearing roller skates (not inlines, they were quad skates). Maybe the enemies don't, I can't remember. Please let me know if you have any idea what I am talking about. There was only one place I have seen this game ever and it was a long time ago and I really want to play it again.

EDIT: I think I just remembered what the game is. DJ Boy. I guess it was on genesis also, didn't know that before I searched for it.

EDIT: Yeah, this game rules. YAY ME!!! for remembering. I'm gonna look for the arcade version now. The genesis one only lets me have one credit, what a rip off. My best friend (at the time) and I actually beat this one in the arcade once. I forget how much it costed us but this game pwnes big time.

All i remember is that is was about gambling. And occasionally there were scenarios where you would decide to give money or not, or if you wanted to be on a sports game. The results would either be real good or real bad.

    Ring any bells?

Edit: It was a NES game

It's possibly Casino Kid. Check that one out, then let us know.
