Me and my friend want to write a comic. I can write well enough, and my friend is an excellent drawer. But we have no experience combining the two. We've never done anything like this before. My question is how do I start? Should we make story boards and draw our characters out and such? Does anyone know anything about the creative process of comic writing? Is there any advice or tips you can give me that will help us out? Thanks.

Firstly you should decide on a genre for the comic (horror, action, comedy, romance etc...)

Then maybe draw a brainstorm for each area of the comic, for example a brainstorm of idea's for the character's look/personality.

Then maybe your friend could do a few sketches for the main character(s) and then take it from there i guess.

It's going to be and action/comedy that's loosely based on the mis-adventures of me and my friend.

Well if you already have the genre and theme sorted. Then next step would be too character design and also come up with some wacky adventures

It may just be my thick head, but I still don't understand how your birthday can be 2407 days 16 hrs 30 mins 40 secs away.
It's the enormous day count throwing me off.

uh, right now it only says 2 days.
