It benefits them to disallow it. For example, the console manufacturers can shovel their paid network services with "conveniences" like online save backup. With publishers/developers they can funnel you to cheat DLC and they won't get an earful from up the chain if a save could be leveraged to exploit console security.

They probably have an automated pricing adjustment on it within some range. When stores first started using them and didn't have a range set they would jack things up and down by huge amounts.

I've fired up Star Ocean 5 now that I found some cheats . Apollo has a good number of save codes for it. Goldhen has some cheats as well but it's only for the 1.00 of the European release and the one floating around is 1.01. I don't know if it's possible to edit the pkg and remove the update but I didn't want to deal with that unless I had to.

Even some of the non-exclusive AAA titles are interesting, the gamepad makes the experience a little different.

Wii U gamepad digitizer arrived today (along with some other stuff).
Installed it in the "faulty" white gamepad. It works fine now, so that's a $3.50usd fix

I noticed a cheap white 32GB the other day but it was Japanese so I can't sync my pad with it... yeah I know it's possible to do, but the console didn't come with the original pad.
