started on a couple other games recently mother 3 and a game called subterrian mines of titan. the games has a good scifi setting and a cool story but a stupid turn based movement mechanic it plays slow as fuck like playing a board game and always rolling a 1 it really holds the game back and makes it a chore to even play if you could turn it off outside of combat it'd be playable.

    a couple nice finds there.
is that torment game related to planscape torment?

Correct. It's a fairly large city adventure and that's about it.

Anyone know of any decent prebuilt gaming PCs? I just am not in the mood to build one right now.

Find several you consider acceptable and then wait for a decent sale or a clearance.

I'm suggesting waiting for a sale because you pay for the convenience by getting the cheapest parts possible .

I'll keep an eye out for a sale. There needs to be a open source Sega Model 2 emulator. Model 2 emulation is still in its infacy in MAME.

I think Falcon Northwest is still around but I can't get their site to load and have no idea on the pricing.

Had a friend contact me asking me to mod a PSP 1000 OFW 4.05. The last one I modded years ago was to put a temp CFW on. What's the latest/preferred method of hacking now? Do I need to be on the latest OFW?

You don't really need 6.61 CFW. Yeah you can do that but it isn't needed for any games. 6.61 was just the last update for shop compatibility iirc.
But yeah, update to 6.60 OFW (or 6.61 if you want) then install CFW. I don't use perm I just use temp, means CFW can be swapped easily (PRO-C and LME).
Oblivion betas will work on LME but not PRO-C.

Oh shit, forget what I said about Oblivion... If he has a launch fat 1000 he can't enable extra ram anyway as it isn't there. He should get another model if he wants to play those.

    @ DL, thanks.

I'm thinking of using 660PRO-C.fix3 temp cfw. After installing, should I delete the PROUPDATE and CIPL_Flasher folders just leaving the FastRecovery folder?

I got their site to load. They're still around. The cheapest they offer is around the $3k mark.

    There's also redux PC. https://buildredux.com/pages/build-your-pc

    What about this: https://www.amazon.com/CYBERRPOWERPC...f_=as_li_ss_tl

I talked him through the modding process over the phone. It's all good. Thanks again DL.

I recommended him deleting the PROUPDATE and CIPL_Flasher folders because his young kids will be using the PSP.
