At the point where the mutants break in. Got my ass handed to me and as I died I quit.

My build is stealth sniper so I rarely run and gun.

You know that deathclaw yesterday on the island?
That's the first time one has spotted me and tried to attack.

There was so many of them there was no choice. With the 2 BoS asshats there drawing them over well...it was pretty bad.

With that plasma minigun thing I have I can take things down pretty fast. Running out of plasma cores though. Still got wasted. I have no patience anymore for the stealth approach in games. I build as a tank sorta, run up and fuck people straight in the face. Unless I'm playing Hitman. Probably the only one where I like doing doing the stealth thing.

Well with this I do stealth mostly because it consumes less ammo. Yeah it takes longer but your gear gets less wear as well usually.
Big guns are usually really heavy too, I'd rather have another 2-3 smaller guns with different ammo types Just me.

I tend not to use big guns myself. This plasma thing I found somewhere was a god send though against the bigger monsters. Usually go shotgun and sidearms/mid size and carry 4-5 guns of different ammo types just in case. The problem is most of my weapons just tickle enemies so even if I went in slow I'd still get mowed down by just a couple of them so end up using my big one more and more. I need to completely respec my cards maybe, might help. I dunno. Aspects of this game just piss me straight off sometimes.

Non-humanoid enemies can be tricky. Hard to go for head shots, which are pretty effective.
Ghouls in groups are annoying, you just get swamped and they mostly move really fast.

The big guns are really good, I know, but as I said they're heavy and you need to have an absolute crapton of ammo for them. They just burn through it fast.

I did have one of those plasma gatlngs or whatever they are but either sold it or scrapped it, can't remember which.
Never had enough ammo to justify keeping it. Even now I think I have hardly any of that ammo.

Was going through some original Xbox consoles I have here, free junk that was faulty.
One is v1.6 with modchip & 320GB IDE drive, the DVD drive wasn't functional so I swapped in a working Thomson to test. It's completely fine now and was very clean inside
