Beat Esper Dream yesterday.
Beat Esper Dream yesterday.
Just defeated Bowser in world 8 in Super Mario 3D land. Of course I still have the extra content to go through that unlocks after that.
Resident Evil HD Remastered - PC
On hard. Got the Samurai Edge another costume apparently and that game mode with the item boxes being specific to that one for storing items. Oh and I let Barry get killed by the Tyrant at the end, oops. 4 hours 42 minutes.
IT'S A HALLOWEEN RESIDENT EVIL EXTRAVAGANZA!
Next up RE2. Think I'll run the GC version again.
Finished Dust an Elysian Tail on tough difficulty a couple hours ago.
I just finished Eternal ring on on PS4. I also finished Another World 20th anniversary edition on PS4 last night as well. Got 100% of trophies for both games.
Evil Within 2, Nightmare, no crafts/ability upgrades. Streamed (some with, some without, voice) for those who were interested.
Wondering what to do next... if I can get the PC set up, may do Corpse Party: Book of Shadows, since I need to review it anyway, but aside from that, if anybody has any suggestions on what they'd want to see, PM me, please. If I have/can obtain it I'll try.

I've just about played as much of the original Xbox's WW2 Squad based FPS Brothers In Arms: Earned In Blood as I want to. I've played the Story mode and replayed-it on the hardest difficulty and it confirms my feelings that whilst it is one of the best WW2 FPS in terms of authenticity there is just that little too much 'gamey-ness' weighing it down.
What I mean is that the effort to make it as authentic as you'd want a WW2 game to be is consistently undermined by gameplay design.
As usual the enemies are either psychic or dumb as mutton and even at unmissable ranges there is the whiff of mathematical HP rules being applied. That becomes more and more obvious on the harder difficulty levels.
Your squad allies are deliberately hobbled in their effectiveness and also often act as dumb as mutton too.
When it works as you want it to, finding alternate routes, using different tactics and discovering clever ways to flank an enemy position when you're allowed to use alternative routes/tactics it is a genuinely involving and satisfying game. It becomes a real thinking person's FPS with an almost RTS feel.
But maddeningly you're actively and often crudely prevented from doing those sorts of things in numerous ways. In some places you can vault hedges or fences in others you're simply not allowed too. Why? In other situations which should be impassable they clearly compromise just to allow you to progress. These decisions are what flaws the game and its predecessor IMHO.

Assassin's Creed: Freedom Cry. Most annoying thing was the 3 or so crashes on me(And the several freezes.) Again, streamed for any who were interested.
