Well that makes upgrading the HDD easier, just throw an old laptop drive in there. Even an old PS3 HDD 40-160GB should do and nobody wants those.

You're not picturing the size of this thing correctly.
It doesn't even have room for a fan on the CPU...

Have you tried a usb stick on the internal port? Might not work as the port probably isn't configured for booting but no harm in trying.
Even if it doesn't work for a boot drive it might still work as internal storage.

    I have a netbook here that is about 9.5" by 6.5". It's 1" thick.
    64bit and has flash sata.

That's the smallest PC I have atm.

You can get a fairly high capacity micro SD card and my adapter for it is about an inch long and otherwise the size of the USB slot it goes into, if a standard USB stick is too large. Look into your equipment or you might be limited to USB2 speeds.

    Be afraid. Be very afraid.

I have neglected to mention that there are no mini PCIE slots on the board at all, In spite of what the datsheet may say. There is only one SATA port and one USB header. There isn't even a standard SATA power connector as the internal drive (1GB as it turns out) is powered by a fan connector!
The APU supports DX11 if you do manage to get 7 on there. Think of all the games you'll be able to start* (but probably not run) .

I think it is 2.0 but its still quite functional. Plus, 8GBs is more than enough for my text adventures.

No, I havent't but Im sure it would work as a boot device. The BIOS has more options than Ive ever seen. Maybe I'll try that out. I also want to try to fit a fan inside since the thing gets pretty warm. I just don't know if I can find one small enough.

Seen a modded Vita on 3.68. Apparently it now runs all Vita games, psp, psx and emulators on that firmware. Can anyone confirm?

My Vita and Vita TV as well as my brother's Vita are softmodded with Enso3.65 and it runs all my PSP, PSX and virtually every Vita game I have tried. I say virtually, because there were a few Vita games that were required to be on a higher firmware, but had soon been hacked to run on 365.

But according to wololo, 368 is indeed hackable now.

It's also possible to play games that require >3.60 on 3.60.
